Man the portal is gonna be wild this offseason
If I understand the latest injunctions against the NCAA are we now talking unlimited transfers and open NIL bidding for players on active rosters (i.e. "tampering" is fully legal now)? If so... yeah... this offseason is going to be absurd.

And while I realize "tampering" is going on in one way or another already as well as bidding wars behind the curtain, allowing basically any NIL collective to offer money to any player to transfer and play immediately seems like an explosive situation.

I mean, I would be SHOCKED if Kalkbrenner transferred here, but 17/7 and 3 blocks/game? Sign me the hell up!
Well I will bet that is McDermott and Huss leave for a new school then we have a chance. He will follow them if its the right fit. If not think we have a good shot.

Speaking of NIL

Speaking of NIL

Yeah, that's what I was talking about. It seems like this is now an actual completely free market if I'm understanding correctly. When there's no penalties for transferring and collectives connected to schools are now allowed to openly discuss NIL terms with potential recruits, it's going to be completely open season for poaching active rosters. Might even open the doors for mid-season immediately eligible transfers. Or aggressive soliciting of offers (think Pearl or Sampson levels of daily calls). Don't know where this goes

Huss is the HC at High Point ... And is doing quite well ... Has them on track to make the tourney in his first year ...

No chance Storr transfers again, especially to another B1G team. I'd gladly take him, but I can't see that happening. Boswell is a good guess. The INSIDERS have tossed out Kalkbrenner's name, too. No clue who else is out there that we'd have a great shot at. Then again, I hadn't even heard of Harmon or Domask until rumors swirled that we were interested in them.
So I might be wrong. LOL. Trilly D says AJ will enter the portal to get the biggest bag he can get. Interesting.

Stats don’t always tell the whole story sometimes, the young man imho is a straight up Dawg.
Haven't followed this - so Storr just wants to leave for the money, despite it looking like he's having a solid Year 1 at Wiscy?

Ha! I thought I recognized that name, Nedo Qubein, and had to search to make sure. He is/was a Motivational/Management/Self-Help speaker that I've watched and read along with Zig Ziglar and others many many years ago when I was in management/sales. Cool immigrant success story.

I do vaguely remember the Huss talk years back when we were looking to replace Antigua/Chin.
