That's where a Coleman Hawkins return would actually add the most value. Leadership. Locker room. Tradition. Brand. Work ethic. And the unofficial coach-off-the-court, per se. (With that said, I do not expect him to return. I think he probably finds an opportunity to earn more $$$$ out there somewhere.)

It's not about them being bad guys or selfish players necessarily, but they've just shown nothing as distributors from a talent perspective.
We're losing Hawkins and Domask who are superb passers for their size and natural positions. We got away without a true PG because we had great passers all over the floor who had a natural instinct to share the ball.
No collection of players is perfect and Oweh's reputation for strong defense is really appealing, I'm just thinking through the combinations here.
@illini0440 if Coleman comes back what bar should all of us meet you at?

-Elite wing
-Lead ball handler
-4/5 man-this could be depending on if Coleman returns or not-if he ends up coming back they would get a 5. If not, I could see them getting both
-Another wing-again depending on Domask waiver news
Agreed. He's a unique talent but he's also a connection to the EDG culture. I'll be happy for him when he gets a pro contract but I would be absolutely stoked if he decided to run it back.

A role player off the bench. Provides depth which is very important.
Really good 3 point shooter and can shoot it on the run. To me he's an upgraded version of Goode that doesn't have to be set when he shoots like Luke does. Will be a really good role player for years to come with 3 years left. Will be the smallest name we add, but could be sneaky important

Kid can really shoot ... Has a great attitude ... Willing to accept his role ... Doesn't kill us in the NIL salary cap ...
He can come off the bench ... Make open shots ... Make hustle plays ... Give 100% effort ... Never an issue academically or off the court ...
Can't have a team full of superstars ... He's a glue guy ... The kid who sticks around for years and may not score a ton but makes an impact in other ways ...
This also only helps our relationship with Indy Heat (DGL and Goode AAU team) and Jason Delaney (Cathedral HS coach & Indy Heat Director) ... Fears will run with Indy Heat this year ...
