Thanks to @Indy Illini Fan and @LvilleILL for stoking this thread. Apparently, we're now reaping substantial dividends from the end of a seven-year construction period that completely mitigated program risk and has produced a consistently humming power plant of a team, renewing itself annually with gleaming, heavy-duty, best-in-class, low-emissions machinery.

It's a month or so late but: laissez les bon temps rouler! Not even 48 hours after the season ended and I can't wait for the opening tip-off in November.
I wholeheartedly agree. And very nicely phrased!

Reynaud's eligibility for NIL payment as a foreigner presumably in the US on a student visa still appears to be a question mark.

There's also just a pretty big "why us" question there, imho.
I believe he has the same agent as Perrin.

So what position is Ty in your starting lineup? Do you believe that he can contribute more than 6 points/game next year?

Considering he played three seasons at Stanford, I think it is more "why not us" question. There are many reasons he should choose Illini from a pure basketball standpoint, but there will also be tons of competition. If he values location like Stanford more, then I complete agree. The NIL hiccup will also be a factor, but given the running success at Illinois (along with NIL structure in place), I feel like this "why us" question is becoming less of a factor.

So I believe Sencire and Dain will have us in some Podz-like watch threads next season. Both have potential to excel in the right situations.
Just guessing, but I think Sencire ends up at Duquesne and Dain in Minnesota.

Gophers need to rebuild a lot of their roster and I don't think they have a huge NIL bag as of yet. Hoping Dain finds a spot outside the conference where he can tear it up!

Kylan Boswell, Arizona face decisions after Sweet 16 loss to Clemson

“A rollercoaster would probably be the word I’d say” to describe his season, Boswell said after the NCAA Tournament loss, according to AZDesertSwarm.com. “Highs and lows, it’s part of basketball. This summer I’ve got to change a lot of habits. Get more locked in on my mental (side) and body, for sure, and just prepare for whatever comes next in my life.”

As time passes and I look back on the 2024 postseason, there is little doubt that Dainja’s efforts in the OSU game were the real kickstarter. We were in BIG trouble against OSU, and Dain was the catalyst for getting that comeback rolling. This postseason may look a lot different if that goes differently in Minneapolis on Friday. Lots of good things to remember, but that stretch will always stand out to me.

He was a catalyst against Moorhead state too. They had nothing for him.
