I don’t understand the Harris situation at all unless the coaches specifically told him he was not a large part of the future of the team. Why not transfer last year? Why redshirt? Did he just horribly miscalculate?
I could see Dain going back home since the Minny guy is in the portal but I see Sincere going back to Akron and playing for Groce. So I believe Sencire and Dain will have us in some Podz-like watch threads next season. Both have potential to excel in the right situations.
Just guessing, but I think Sencire ends up at Duquesne and Dain in Minnesota.
Locked and LoadedI'm usually not too bad in translation, but I'm lost on this one! lol.
I like this place, I love this place, I am thankful for this place....uh, I am entering the portal...Wha?
He may have known that Fletch is the best in the business and wanted to get a full year with him before transferring.......????I don’t understand the Harris situation at all unless the coaches specifically told him he was not a large part of the future of the team. Dain can easily be a 14 & 8 guy at pretty much any Power 5 school. His #’s per minute played this year easily transfers if you actually played him more than 5 minutes a game. He should have played much more this year in my opinion.Dain was a favorite of mine but I get it.
I still think he can be like a 14 and 8 guy at like a mid to low tier SEC school.
Thanks for the memories, Dain!

I could see that too, but Duquesne's new coach is a teammate of Lebron's from the same high school Sencire attended.I could see Dain going back home since the Minny guy is in the portal but I see Sincere going back to Akron and playing for Groce.
Man wanted to keep Dainja, but the way Brad played him this year doesn’t surprise me in the least. Now we need another big.
Barf. Must be one of the LA schoolsSidenote: it looks like it is likely Skyy will end up back in the B1G.
Key was that Coleman and Terrance staying an additional yearTotally agree.
There was more continuity from last season to this season than it superficially appeared adding all of those 5th year guys.
I think it's also true that 5th year grizzled vets are more plug-and-play than younger transfers. Xavier Amos offers a similar skill package to Quincy Guerrier, but he's played 33 games in the MAC, not 131 in the ACC and Pac 12.

I know the focus is on who is coming here next, but briefly, do the insiders have any insight as to where Dain might be looking to go? Just curious what type of program will be able to let Dain be Dain.Dain Dainja, one, if not the best name, to come thru the UoI basketball doors.
No surprise, but he can find a program to fit his skills and their needs.
Good luck!

I will say this:So is Boswell/Storr/Raynaud like, the dream transfer scenario here? A PG, a scoring wing, and a big?
After 2 games against Edey and one against Clingan this year, I would love a 7-1, dunking, rim protecting machine. And Raynaud's got a competent 3 point shot and top-500 FT% to boot.
I can't like a post suggesting Coleman might need surgery, but getting him back would sure be great!Coleman could possibly have to get something done on his knee which would make coming back to Illinois a lot more likely
