Shouldn't be hard to find one who can shoot better than 47% from the line. A sub 50% center from the line is a liability who you can't afford to play at crunch time in close games.
Kind of like Kofi the was the first couple of yrs?

Best of luck to Dain. As has been suggested above, I too wonder about Minnesota taking him since they are losing their 5-man to the portal.

As far as "did Dain talk to the staff here" -- these decisions are sometimes mutual, reflecting playing time opportunity for the coming year. So ...

Sorry. I'm on injured reserved list all of a sudden: my right index finger is strained from clicking "like" so much lately. I may enter some portal.

I just wanna do an umbrella "like" to 99.999 percent of these here posts.

I could transfer and try left index finger. But I'm a Republican.

3 scholarships open now, 2 more to go imo. Thank you for everything Dain!
If that's the case, that doesn't bode well with us keeping Sencire from an odds perspective. That was my gut feel when he redshirted, that it was probably more likely to happen than not based on how we attack the transfer portal. And while I'm glad we'll be bringing in great experienced talent, I'll be really sad if and when he does leave. He was my favorite player last year, will be hard seeing him not play in orange and blue.

Myles Rice should be target #1. Kid is Storr but younger and a more team first player. Go get him Brad he’s capable of being a Big10 first teamer year 1

I'm going to have to have a talk with my wife. Her last three favorite Illini were Curbelo, Harris, and Dainja.

Bro Dainja ...

I appreciate your three years at Illinois. You played hard, great rebounder, could score around and under the basket ...a good paint defender too. But best about you is your attitude. Always ready to come off the bench and play hard.

The best to you in your future bball experience. I enjoyed watching you play at Illinois.
