When Luther's brother, Crandall, was being recruited, it was an oft-suggested solution that would let us get him on the team without using up a scholarship. This was in the pre-NIL days. It's now a Loyalty meme.

Oh he was terrific in their two tourney games. Cool story with his dad too, it would almost be a shame for him to leave Oakland.

Heard the Oakland coach do an interview the day after the Kentucky win. Said this was the plan from the start of the season. Allow the player to showcase his skills, graduate from Oakland and then get paid because they can afford anywhere near what he is worth on the open market.

I believe a team can only have two walk-ons, so the entire roster is limited to 15.

Yup ... From what I've heard ... We will return 5 ... Bring in 5 or 6 portal guys ... And add the 3 freshman ...

6 portal guys and we would be over signed by 1 ... Which according to the staff meeting this morning ... Very much in play ...
