Dude, its not just about us but him and his time in as a college athlete and student. He got an extra year of college, developed , will make more in NIL and most likely make the most possible. He earned his spot this year on scout teams im sure. Not everyones destiny is the NBA or even as an Illini. I wish him the best.

Sencire is a legend in that he made the box score of the Michigan game on 1/18 while redshirting. Not many players have that honor.

He shot 33% from 3 as a freshman. Granted it was pretty low volume, but I'd be willing to bet he got a little better since then.
I just can’t figure out where the reputation for being negative comes from… but they are probably right this time. The fact that they’re lawyering up means they’re fighting an uphill battle. It’s a long shot, but I also thought the talk of Shannon playing again this season was one of the biggest pipe dreams in illini sports history and yet here we are.

Justin Harmon locking down the 6th man role in the summer kind of finalized the decision.
This remains my Sencire Harris Gold Standard Moment:
Biggest issue with Harris is that he went 4/20 from the foul line. That says his shot is broke.
If he fixes it (not likely when you start from that low of point), he could be a legit starting contributor on a good team. He has NBA athleticism and length. I think he’d fit best at a team like Houston. With their defensive style I think Sampson could use him

I'm just gonna say it: I don't want AJ Storr. It's not the talent, I don't like the vibes. I don't like decommitting from the Illini only to play hot potato with his next two teams. I don't like turning down Kansas and their $750k because he's dead-set on making $1M. We have a culture where the players and Brad said there's no cliques, everyone's chill and having fun, and this guy is gonna gunk the whole locker-room up and this time we don't have Mayer to deck him unless Hawkins comes back.
