You know, I just saw people commenting about this on Reddit. He's from Mali and cannot receive NIL funds directly, but he set up a foundation to build a school back in his hometown in Mali. I wasn't aware of this. Maybe he is dangerous on the court but sounds like a good guy off the court.

In my eye test, Maddox looks smoother and more of a PG although both ate described as combo guards. Maddox is PG/SG and Hill is SG/SF or wing.

I'd be curious to hear people's thoughts on starting Hansberry at the 4 next year (or maybe Rez? Can he shoot 3s at all to the extent that teams wouldn't be able to just dare him to shoot in a deep drop like they do vs Ty?) or do we need to give him 1 more year before he's ready to start? (I'm also assuming we get a starting 5 in the portal)
Maddox is a WAY better shooter (with NBA range), Hill has a shaky jump shot and I don’t really see his game translating to the high-major level in the same way. Not super fast/bursty or a great shooter

I hope waiting on Storr isn’t a situation like last year where waiting on RayJ cost us other players in the portal. Staff should’ve learned from that.
As long as we're comparing stats, I'd at least look at efficiency...
Maddox put up those numbers in 33min/game while taking about 13.3 shots, or 1.17 points per shot
Hill put up those numbers in 36min while taking about 19.9 shots, or 1.03pps
Maddox also got more steals (2.4 per 100 possessions vs 1.6)
All of these could of course be influenced by team style, quality/type of teammates, and what was asked of them.

again, it’s the time of year where a lot of mumbo jumbo gets tossed around by accounts for clicks.
I can't see this getting resolved for couple months. Remember last year Tommy DeVito appeal. Brad has to plan on Marcus not coming back.
Last year we picked up 3 good but unheralded transfers who paid big dividends. Hopefully Brad can do the same this year. I would not make the Weber or Groce mistake of putting all our eggs in one basket (Storr). We all recall RayJDennis was supposed to be lock to Illinois and ended up at Baylor.
I am jealous that Kansas has already signed two good players (moved on from Storr quickly). Kugel FL 9 ppg Mayo SDS 19 ppg
UCLA impresses me less since we know Skyy. Kobe J is 11 ppg 5 rbg from USC.
