They were underwhelmed when Damask was announced too. Everyone needs to trust Brad’s process. He hasn’t disappointed us yet when it comes to portal recruitment.
As stated by a few of our more reasoned, seasoned posters. As a depth piece, good length, not exactly below the rim but not super explosive, played on a sh!t Louisville team… let’s just trust that the coaches know what they’re doing and the kid will be a positive addition to the program.
In the meanwhile, let’s avoid the spicy takes until the portal dust settles. He’s here and likely excited about it. AND the staff obviously wants him. Folks on here giving the guy a Canadian top hat already… yeesh

Good Lord… we sign a guy who will be bench depth/developmental project and you all are disappointed because he’s not a first team AA. Brad is really, really good at this. Just give him some space to breathe and put his entire roster together before you tell us how underwhelmed you are.

Yep. Ever since Plummer, his conversion rate has been pretty good. The only misses are Podz (!!!) and perhaps Mayer (?)

Jeez I’m always quick to complain, but the board tonight is being pretty ridiculous. This guy isn’t the headliner of the off-season. If he plays for us as a depth piece, I know the staff will have him ready to contribute. Take a Xanax and relax.

If you had paid attention from the start you would’ve understood that we were going to add some bench players first. I guess some people missed that part. If this is our best bench player or role player than sign me up.

Thing is, he only has 2 years to play.
It's a reclamation project for a real talent who we were in on out of HS. I don't hate it in theory. I guess I just struggle to see how White's player improvement needs match up with our basketball success needs.
If he's just passing through as his 3rd of 4 schools, there's not much point to it for anybody.
But there's a player in there somewhere, welcome Tre and let's get to work finding it.
Not sure how you're thinking about this, maybe I missed a qualifer. Skyy Clark and Jayden Epps last year were one-pitch pop-ups.
Is the thought a starter level big, or a rotational guy to slide behind Morez/Amani?
