I doubt Storr commits anywhere until after the NBA combine. His timeline will be closer to Mayer, Shannon, RayJ Dennis late May
I don't think these top portal guys can get away with that anymore - with the type of dollars in NIL programs are willing to commit, it's now full on free agency - teams aren't going to wait around until May 17th to know if he's coming - they will give that money to someone else.

I think Storr has already gotten enough NBA feedback to know he's transferring not going to the draft. There is nothing stopping him from committing to a team in the transfer portal and still going through the NBA process if that is what he wants to do - but he's pretty much committed to transferring at that point.

Love that 80+% FT, 36% from 3 for a 6'8" fella who also pulls down 8+ every night. It seems like he had a real breakthrough year with stats bumping up big-time and only has 1 year left.

I then saw the Conwell post. 2 years of eligibility

I like them both! Who is an EDG?

I love Ty -- love him -- but if he can't learn to hit a floater or even (especially) a layup, let alone an actual jumpshot, then the stability of his role on the team will continue to fluctuate moving forward.
I predict that Ty will be most-improved returning player next season. Just love his game. I expect him to come back next fall with a nice little 10-15 foot jump shot, and excel at small forward.

Shot improvement will be equivalent to Robert Bennett for those who may remember the early 1990's. Should shoot over 50% from the field and average 10-12 ppg and 7 rpg during his Junior season.

There's a difference here. It's not just shot improvement, but it's wanting to actually shoot the ball. Now, I'm not sure if it was by design that he wasn't looking at the rim, but the whole mentality has to change after 2 years. That won't be easy.

To me, that's the hurdle. How do you improve on something that you literally don't attempt to do?

How is this not going backwards to the days of kofi? Brad has been on record saying he wants shooters and liked the way the offense ran with shooters 1-5
To me the biggest issue on Kofi was that he didn’t pass. So the offense if it gave him a feed almost always ended with a shot or a turnover. While he was so dominant it worked a lot, I think in a world where he saw the doubles and passed out (like burns or Edey), you could see how many open 3s we would have gotten. That model does fit the analytics mold of high percentage shots at the rim or catch and shoot 3s

Yes, that’s my biggest concern with Ty. In another post I called it Ben Simmonsesque, the most glaring example being passing up a wide open layup in crunch time of the Marquette game.

I don’t know if he’s still sped up, doesn’t want to go to the FT line, or just a general case of the yips. But if he doesn’t get over whatever it is, he has a significantly lower ceiling.

I love Ty and am rooting for him. Hopefully next year as one of the programs elder statesmen he has the confidence to be more assertive. With his size, strength, length and athleticism, no reason he shouldn’t take and make more shots at the rim.
