Did you also lose faith in James Augustine for the ‘05-‘06 season after he fouled out in 9 minutes of play in the 2005 title game?
Delete. Letting this go.

If Coach Underwood can navigate the SLIGHTLY choppy waters of recruiting and team-building in 2024, I am going to have to bow down in AWE.

I haven't any idea how to navigate the ridiculous challenges he faces but I have a damn good idea what those challenges are. Challenges that make me very nervous from an O&B perspective.

My advice? Never mind the Polyanna posts. Gotta brush that BS right off your shoulders was how I was mentored in coaching. Be you, be sincere, let 'er rip.

It almost seemed like that was more of a game plan asking him to be extra physical and if he fouls oh well. Against other posts he played physical but without as much fouling (Iowa against Freeman)
That is exactly what I was thinking at the time. Amani didn't seem too concerned about the calls and I seem to recall him laughing at some point.

It feels like we need a portal thread for teams other than the beloved.. I don't want their crap here but inquiring minds want to know:

Michigan seems to be getting 2 7 footers (while we seem to be in line for a guy who is more 4 than 5)?
Who is Cal dropping all that new NIL $ on?
Who is going to be left to go to KY once Juan signs on as their coach? [Given the importance of KY could that be a Juan/Satan co head coach?]

or maybe after this weekend we're done and it can all go here :)

Wondering if FAUs Golden is a possibility for us? I really like his game and tbh with a good conditioning coach his ceiling is really high.

How much will Storr desire from the Illini?
We shouldn't be overly concerned about this, players want market rate. Obviously there is a push to the home state, coaching and winning BU knows the budget and our needs, I'm sure he will spread it around like a good GM. Kentucky apparently spent 7 million NIL fir that squad and Indiana spent around 5 million. Purdue spent around 2 million.

Jared Coleman-Jones has a junkyard old man game. Probably low risk big #4 if Amani or Morez are in foul trouble or not matching up well. Perfect for a rough game.

Not sure if this was shared but found it interesting on Booth. But a quote stuck out...isn't this our plan next year?

On Decision To Enter The Transfer Portal

"Looking for a better fit. Coach Shrewsberry is a great coach. Their offense is mostly 4 guards around 1 big. I’m more of a stretch four so it was a tough fit at times. I'm looking for a different look offensively… Faster pace, grab-and-go-off the glass.”

All I’ll say is I think Booth would be the 4….
I will be honest, I have no idea about Booth--never saw him play. Would he be similar to a Coleman-type player? I read here he is 6'10, does shoot from the three-point line, and is lined up to play the 4. Can he dribble? And he is quick?

Yep with Morez at the 5
