Just for the sake of conversation, who’s plan B if storr goes NBA or elsewhere?
His 15-20 PPG seems like a huge missing piece if we whiff. The other positions all seem like they have reasonable back up plans to get to roughly the same spot.

I’m wondering this as well. Let’s say Storr wants to play out the draft process and isn’t ready to commit until Memorial Day. Or maybe it’s a RayJ situation where he tells the staff what they want to hear but doesn’t commit and continues to shop around for better offers. And let’s say Oweh is ready to commit now. How long do you wait on Storr?

We were amazing last year with no PG but think we could struggle if we wind up with a plan C/D big scoring wing.

This seems that it's played out a whole lot like RayJ from where I'm sitting.....

Speaking on Storr (assuming that's what you mean when you say, "but don't know for sure where we stand with the last one though....)

On Storr it seems it was foolish to ever imply things were a done deal. With a player that talented where we’re competing against Kentucky, Kansas (and probably Arkansas now), we can be in the lead, the team that drove him into the portal, etc. and until he is on campus it’s still a toss up in my opinion. Not saying we won’t land him (and I 100% want to land him), but against teams with seemingly bigger NIL pockets than us and a player seemingly after the biggest bag, it seems foolish to imply like he is a done deal.

Plus Storr still needs to go thru the NBA combine. He doesn’t need to sign anywhere until then. There will be the same money available for him whether he commits today or June 5th

Say we do pick up Boswell. How does that make fears feel? I’m sure he was promised a starting point guard position his freshman year.

It is funny. I see this a lot calling them multi year. I guess you are right in the sense they can play multiple years but every year they could just transfer only that year is guaranteed. I don't even think they can be penciled in for another season.
fully agree nothing in year 2 is guaranteed. But a successful 2024/2025 (NCAAT - lets say S16).

Goode, Maddox are done. Maybe Storr is NBA bound and say 1 transfer out. Opportunities for those guys still around plus 4 openings.

If we don't happen to land Storr, I do expect the exact same backlash from fans a la RayJ.

Then we will get to hear about it all next year despite being ranked in the top 5-15 teams in the nation and going to the E8.

I don’t see losing TSJ, Domask, Hawkins, Guerrier and replacing them with Boswell, Maddox, Morez, and White as very comparable.

If you don’t land Storr, this team is nowhere near last year’s #6 AP team. I think it should still be a fringe tourney team depending on how good Boswell is tho even without Storr

Everyone said this same thing last year. Doom/gloom crowd didn't think we'd be any good at all. We didn't have RayJ so cancel the season.

You just proved my point, so thank you.

I have seen so much hate towards the idea of adding Storr. Most people saying he’s a shot chucker and not good. I just don’t know how you can turn down that type of talent. With the right staff and culture, he could be a monster. Wisconsin doesn’t exactly have a great team or staff lol. He had no help besides Chucky for the most part. I think that’s partially why he took a lot of shots because he had no help.

What's everyone doing on Memorial Day? Golf? Boating? BBQ? Party at Dan's house?

Yes IRT Hansberry, but also about guys who play the same position as Ty Rodgers and Sencire Harris.
They know there are 12 roster spots but only 5 positions on the court??
