I legitimately have zero idea who the guy to the left of Trent is

Coleman was a liability in the paint. It's not his fault, he was 50 pounds lighter than those he was asked to body up. At 6'10", Coleman was clearly more comfortable on the perimeter. Nothing wrong with that assessment.
He was a liability in only 3 games....2 vs Purdue and 1 vs UConn. In all other games, he was either a wash or used his quickness and experience to gain advantage and make it tough for opponents to score. His shot blocking was outstanding most of the time.

I watched CoHawk defend fairly closely in every game and he was not easily moved and certainly not physically dominated by anyone but those two.

Furthermore, I did not see anyone dominate either Klingan or Edey. And in spite of Clingan, by himself without double help, made Edey work hard for every bucket he scored....while allowing his teammates to keep Purdue off the three point arc. This of course was a brilliant strategy that most opponents would like to have done for the past two years, but literally no one had the personnel to pull it off. But, IMHO, Hawk defended the post remarkably well.

Build and demeanor I could see some D Will in his game at the same age.
Comparing him to the best player in program history that went 3rd overall and was an all pro caliber NBA player might be a bit of a stretch.

I get it from the build that Deron needed to lose weight and Boswell but probably would benefit from getting leaner and quicker.

Sorry but anyone saying Boswell isn’t a take…. LOL.
It’s insane lol. 5-star, not even 19 for another week or two and was the best guard on the floor with Caleb Love, Jared McCain, Tyrese Procter and Jeremy Roach earlier this year…

Kid can bomb from 3, has shown very impressive passing chops and has a great build for a guard. He’s been inconsistent, yes, but playing next to Caleb Love ain’t easy and again, he’s 18.

The player to Trent's left is wearing uniform number 22 and according to the 2018-2019 basketball roster, number 22 was worn by Anthony Higgs.

Anthony Higgs didn't have any stats according to the Fighting Illini.com website and doing a search on the Internet I didn't see much for Anthony Higgs as far as basketball was concerned.

Here's all I could find for Anthony Higgs basketball career after college:

Here's his information from the Fighting Illini.com website.

TJD never took 3s or barely even a mid range shots.. i don’t see the comparison.

I could see Morez being more like TJD but more physical
Carey Booth is nothing like Trayce Jackson Davis. Brandon Garrison would be a closer comparison to TJD.

I'm personally not thrilled with the prospect of a 6'10" guy that took over 60% of his shots from 3 and hit less than 30% of them. A "post player" shooting 39% from the field? Booth looks like a great athlete, but also a 6'10" SG that's not a great shooter.

Give me Max Raynaud or Brandon Garrison. I'm sure Underwood sees Coleman Hawkins when he looks at Booth. If Booth can make a jump like Coleman did from Jr to Sr year, ok. But Coleman made a pretty big jump. That is not common for any player.

Yeah I saw he doubled his turnover rate last year, I didnt watch a ton of his games so I dont know what happened. Maybe it would've been disastrous, who knows.

We made the Elite 8. I'm hardly complaining, but you can already see from Indy's posts midseason that the staff was focused on it not happening again.
Because you cannot make a logical argument we win or lose based on something we didn't have. You cannot say, "if we had __________ the result would've been ___________."

Holy strawman!

No single insider has said that Tre White is going to be the star here. If anything they've been tempering expectations and saying not to expect him to be anything more than a bench contributor because of the other pieces expected to join but that Brad thinks he can get more out of him than he showed at Louisville (not mutually exclusive).

Would really be a shame if incessant doomers ended up chasing our insiders off. Don't think it'll happen but then this board would just be filled with constant dooming *plus* no insider insights. Now that would be tiresome indeed.
Neazy, my friend, I don't think many folks here understand the fallacies of logic.
