Werner makes a living in this business. That means if he hears something and is told to keep it under wraps he does.

That rule doesn't apply to anonymous message board posters.

The problem with your logic is that we were told by insiders, if Boswell enters the portal, and he was expected to, he would commit.

You are describing a hindsight insider above. And even then, it is flawed without any additional information that is not publicly observable

True, but I’m not exactly sure how plugged in or how closely he really follows the program beyond his weekly announcing assignments.

More than a few times he’s said some eyebrow-raising things during an Illini broadcast. He did a game this past season where he kept calling DGL “Druh-Gibbs Lawhorn, as if his first name was hyphenated or apostrophe’d…

Respect him for the Flyin’ years, but no real fan of the program would have trouble pronouncing names if he actually paid close attention. I mean, it’s not like posters on here struggle with spelling our guy’s names, let alone pronunciation :censored: ;)

If there were any insiders here, they’d have known Chester Frazier was leaving before that news hit. That’s pretty big program news that would be tough to keep secret. Local guys didn’t break it. Nobody here did. A national guy did
