Appreciate the info. If the prior projections of what our NIL is around are accurate that must mean we're going after 2 players who would garner maybe just south of a million apiece. That's some gigantic targets if that's the case. Can you tell us if these would be multi year eligible targets or one and done mercenaries? I'm guessing if they're going for that they're thinking 1 year and pro.

Really helpful insight, thank you - are the two big time guys tied to the potential new Assistant coach? If so, the timing would make me nervous of getting the assistant inked then being able to sign the players while other big time programs are in their ear
I'm really interested to see whether DGL can take that jump next season. I'm not as high on him as others, because I'm not sure how much strength his frame can put on to help him ward off physical defenders and get himself good looks at his size. That said, he looked like he bought in last year, had some significant growth as a player, made some very good defensive strides, and started playing more of a team game by end of season. He'll get a shot and I hope he gets there, just not sure he does.

I've tried to keep a sheet together of the names that have been mentioned here of guys who are in the portal that we are targeting.
One thing you'll notice of course is a lack of high priority big man targets. The implication for the 5 right now seems to be some combination of being dependent on the AC hire and names not yet in the portal. Boynton for example could open up Garrison (currently in the portal) as an option given that he recruited him to and coached him at Ok St. Antigua is of course a very respected and connected big man coach and could open us up to names that either aren't current targets or aren't in the portal yet.
