I say we offer Coleman a player-coach deal to sweeten the pot.

Heck, we could also put him on the social media staff, and maybe appoint him as direct liaison to the Big Ten Collegiate Officiating Consortium, as well as chief negotiator on the Domask NCAA waiver team.

im sorry but I dont see a way domask is back. cam spencer applied for the same waiver and only played 5 games compared to 10 games for domask and he got declined.
I looked up both Cam Spencer and Marcus Domask’s seasons in 2020-21. There is a discrepancy in their waiver claims. Domask got injured in December and missed the rest of the 2020-2021 season. Spencer on the other hand was injured all year long and chose to come back and play the last few games of the 2020-2021 season. I don’t know the NCAA eligibility rules in regard to injuries but it would seem if a player chose to play rather than unable to play at the end of the season that it could interpreted differently.

Morez? I don’t understand why we even took Booth if we think Coleman might return.
If you can get Booth and Morez to buy in to coming off the bench for 1 year behind Coleman and a vet, 1-year rental portal 5 man, it MIGHT work. Might work REALLY well. Really, my worry is that the odd man out in all of this might be Ty. He and Tre White seem so similar - maybe it's a race between Ty in developing a shot and Tre in showing effort and buy in on D to determine who the primary backup wing.

Do any of the insider information sources have any updates on Marcus Domask appeal? I am curious as to when this decision will be public. Any time your appealing to the NCAA there are a ton of "what if. but maybe sorts of things," I am not asking what you think the NCAA will rule. I am just asking if anyone has an idea on when this appeal decision is likely to be determined. It would be nice to have Marcus back for another year, but I am not holding my breath on anything the NCAA might decide. I am sure that this is a factor in what BU is trying to accomplish with the portal players.

We shouldn’t be to upset about a kid we only felt good about but never really lead for in Maddox and a kid that Brad backed off of in Storr … 🤷🏻‍♂️
Yeah but on this site - several mentions that Illinois led for Maddux - No not by you - that I recall.

Literally Brad Underwood and Marcus Domask themselves do not have that information. The NCAA doesn't give you a timeline, a persistent source of frustration for coaches and players.
