Unbelievable chemistry on our elite 8 team. Even kids who wanted more playing time like Dain, Luke, Justin, DGL and Ty were cheering on their team-mates on every play and every game. The unselfish passing in the BTT and NCAA tourney approached 2005 team. Always making the extra pass. Had the misfortune to run into a UConn team that will rank among the best ever. Don't forget in NCAA tourney in addition to Illinois they easily beat excellent Alabama and Purdue teams.

He probably didn't know exactly what was coming. That's one of their bits, where he and Jost have each other tell jokes the other one wrote sight unseen. One of the few funny bits on SNL recently.
I was just thinking the same thing. I'd bet he retires soon. I don't see him adapting well to the NIL bidding, unless he gets lots of advice and assistance.
Not trying to stir the pot again, but I have tempered my expectations on recruiting and portal from previous seasons. I do appreciate what is shared on the board, much of which is obviously more than the average fan would know.

Izzo is an old school coach you could be very demanding if you have the right player with the old rules it works. He built great teams
Nowadays if a player doesn’t like how you treat them pay them or play them they can be gone.
I don’t think Izzo will change his ways
