Boogie is good but he’s going to demand a starting spot and frankly he’s not good enough for us to start year 1. Indiana tries recruiting him to come off the bench and look how that worked out for them…

I know Boogie’s asking price is high (Roach money) - but I think he’s an important recruit for a lot of reasons

He’d be our first McD AA since Jeremy Richmond and In dont really count him since he was a mess by the time he got here, so really since Dee - 22 years ago. He would fill a glaring need and be a great backcourt with Boswell as a scoring guard who can really shoot it and drive and dish. Plus it would be bringing OA’s recruit with him which I’m sure OA wants given the relationship he’s built with the kid. We have the resources to get the top recruits that OA can pull in, so we need to flex and make that happen.

We would still have David Jones money and if Brad needs to go get money NIL dollars for a big I’m sure there would get it if we had all the others in place already and that was the missing piece

i think a big piece of us not blowing our NIL bag quickly is if marcus gets a waiver and hawkins gets told he would be undrafted we need money

We'd definitely look much different than this year's team's length and height by adding him. I'm not against it.

Having read most of the posts for the past week and a half, it was posted, by one of the insiders IIRC, that both had additional boosters lined up to take care of them should either or both decide to return. That would take the NIL pot for U of I above the reported ~3 mil allotted....but would remain around that figure should they decide to move on.

I think we still need a scoring guard and a true center for rim running. I think that all we have room for. Goode, Ty, Morez, DGL need rotation time as well. Already added Davis, White. Boswell and Booth. scoring SG and center gives you a 10 man rotation.

What are the chances of getting Onyenso to withdraw from draft to join the beloved.Selfessly think another year in college would help his status.Rim protector deluxe.
