Relax mate, it is still really early.Unless the offense changes drastically, where are the points coming from?

IANAI, but no salary cap doesn't mean unlimited funds, you still need to maximize value, I doubt boosters want to pay top price for mid talentif there is no salary cap, and you have boosters willing to pay for top talent, what does it matter?
Seems like a red flag to me, he might not mesh with DGLThe suspensions are overblown … He was late to a practice once and that got him suspended … He got into with a teammate and the teammate instigated but it’s always the guy who retaliates that gets caught … No off court issues …
Do I think he could be serviceable ? Yes … And the price will be right …
Yes and yes. I had a '66 bug when I was stationed in Italy. 6v electric system, and I could only get 12v batteries on base, so I used the 12v to start it and then disconnect the battery (it was under the back seat) and ran off the alternator.'67 VW Beetle. Stuck a Team Lotus sticker on engine to give mechanics a big laugh. But that car was sure easy for me and my buddy to pull out of a snow bank while Galaxies, Impalas, Coronets had to be towed!
I love BLTs. Arby's does a good one, but I prefer my own with home-grown tomatoes.
You asked for it; glad I could contribute.
He's merely in agreement...we are not the center of the universe.Interesting it came from Chester. I'm assuming that was a jab. If he's implying that Brad whats the big names this makes more bullish about the direction of the program.
Chet can recruit his "diamonds in the rough", team guys with very limited talent. Luckily we have a body of evidence of more than a decade about how that turns out.
These are the types of kids we landed for over a decade under Weber/Groce. The Simeon plan B kids. The Kipper Nicholas, The Finkes, Jalen Tate, Billy Coles, Tyler Griffey, Richard Semrau, and yes, Chester Frasier types. Chester could have been the hardest nosed SOB on the floor but that didn't do anything about the fact that he couldn't shoot threes and his defender would sag 7 feet from him.
With talent often comes ego and demanding parents. Somehow the "bullets we dodge" always seem to do okay at the other schools. It's like nobody told Kansas that these kids will destroy the chemistry.
Now on the flip side are kids like Caleb Love. Kids like these can be cancers and affect the entire team chemistry. Avoid them at all cost.
I have no problem with a kid looking for the biggest bag. Isn't that what we do in our professional lives? Some of these family may have never seen a coma in their bank accounts before. Give them a break.
That sounds way too much like “everything is fine, good night” for my likingIt's April 19th. Lotta football left. The Roster will be just fine.

But there really isn't; not yet, anyway. If it were September, I'd be in agreement with you. That sounds way too much like “everything is fine, good night” for my liking
We’re still missing our top two scorers for next season- there is a reason to be nervous- OA will make a huge difference and hopefully he pulls in at least one of those top scorers we need
I hope notIs Jaden Schutt of Duke in our plans? If not, where does he end up?
We need 2 big time scorers imo.bargain hunting is a great way to round out depth, we still need a home run hitter
Seems to me you flipped a coin to determine each of your good/bad responses. I agree with some; but not with others. The Transfer Portal facts - you have to play to win
1) The $$ is finally going to those who earned it - good
2) The player can leave for another opportunity - good
3) The player can get "Creaned" if they no longer fit - bad
4) The team with the most $$ will be get the best players - bad, but kind have always been that way
5) Loyalty to the school or player is very rare now - bad
6) The game has changed to who can rebuild a team in 1 year - bad
7) The game itself is a little better IMO, you either gel as a team or not - good
8) The fans are required to have ADD, and root for new players each year - bad
9) The players have to perform to keep their spot, no real development plan - bad
10) Basically a farm club for the NBA
IDK, most people don't like change. I think the the NCAA will need some NIL more rules like $$ caps, multi year deals, .....
Now who are we going to pay at the 5? ... last year showed a good center is very important in this league
They definitely do, but right now the courts are over ruling any rules the NCAA puts in place that limit a players freedom to play or earn. The Transfer Portal facts - you have to play to win
