Last time I checked the 3 point distance, size/height of the basket, and size/weight of the basketball are the same in the A10 and B10. 50% is 50%.

Here’s my thing with the portal and how Brad has maneuvered in it.
1. It has to be done, it’s the new way…so we will need to get used to it in some way.
2. Brad is a culture guy, and bringing in an almost entirely new team in a given year could make maintaining the culture tough.
3. The way to solve #2 is to bring in super mature “know-their-role” kind of dudes that are (most likely) in their final year AND/OR have several guys that have been in your program 3-4 years that carry the culture torch…guys the rest of the team/new transfers look up to.
I think the worry about the TP this off-season is that (so far) we’ve gone younger with our transfers and have lost a few of our “been in the program” guys and are now on the verge of POSSIBLY losing another.
BU lauded CoHawk many times for doing it the “right way” and being what college basketball is all about. If that’s the case, we have to find a way to hold on to those players. Luke Goode is a player like that, I hope he stays at UI.
Anyway, maybe BU will work his magic and prove any and all doubters wrong again. I mean…even his down year was a 9 seed tournament birth. Let’s hope we keep competing for championships!

Man, this is a big miss. Saint Thomas is the patron saint of architects. He would have really contributed to what we’re trying to build here.
I'm not. I just get annoyed that people that must not have played or watched much basketball on all levels act as if there isn't talent with in and outside the the power 5 or that BU and others that can identify it get paid to do exactly that. How many top nba top picks, college studs or transfers that end up being is it gonna take for B10 fans to quit being so arrogant. BU and the Illini are in the top 10 in the nation they will do all they can to stay there and get paid and with good NIL will try to get the maximum ROI. Not long ago no one wanted Clarkson from Tulsa or Domask from SIU and in today's world would question Lillard or Pippen . Give me a break. There is something to the eye test when they play vs top talent and excel.

Cardet is no Pippen or Dame. He was wildly inconsistent on a terrible team. A lot of great (high scoring) games, but just as many stinkers.
Some of the best DUDES are still in the draft and havent entered the portal yet
The natives will be even more restless if you stand pat with the players fans "like" and lose with them while other teams kill it with portal guys.
