Curbelo should come back. Love the way he plays. I don't think he's in the portal though.

Thanks. As soon as someone applies the smelling salts to me in the wake of seeing "PARENTAL ADVISORY: EXPLICIT CONTENT" I'll enjoy this young man's swell crooning.
lmao, don't bother listening to anything other than the clip i posted. He's a 2.5 star Houston rapper

Damascus was a booty ball outlier, he could scoop, hit the fade away, use the backboard cue ball shot, hit the three, and the behind the backboard jumper. Don’t think you will find another booty baller with those multiple skills.
But other than those things what else could he do?

Getting Onyenso locked down will help with other pieces- hope OA makes this a quick process and we get him

Adding Fland I think would be huge as well- just for the splash of it and to get two ball handlers and excellent three point shooters like Fland and Boswell together would be a dynamic back court

Then we can add one more scoring piece but we won’t absolutely have to have any certain position
Agreed. We need a Big and a SG with good handles. Those should be our primary objectives now. I'd rather spend big on two guys that fit those roles than spread it out on four more guys.

Agree bro deacon ...

Something is coming with coach Antigua returning to Illinois. I think a big or two.

Regarding Goode ..
I appreciate his effort and time as an Illini and wish him well.

If he goes to Indiana he likely will be a Miller Hopp clone shooting 3s from the corner with limited rebounding potential.

If recall this past season Goode got pushed around under the hoop a number of times and in a case or two, coach BU pulled Goode and put Guerier back in the game. Just my take.
I disagree with this. He's obviously not a post up guy but he was 97th percentile in scoring efficiency as a PnR ball handler and his assist rate is similar to Coleman with less turnovers. He is absolutely not going to be the primary ball handler like Domask turned into or a first scoring option like TSJ but he can definitely be a guy who can create for himself and others. I would almost compare his offensive impact to a better version of Coleman.

I was thinking the same...4th year late season Coleman comp when he finally got over the hump and realized he had some dribble drive game and the occasional pull up mid range jumper...agree with your assessment of Humrichous being more advanced offensively, but hard to beat Coleman with all the other things he could do, some of which was due to his length.

I think that rule normally applies to kids on a student visa that are only here to go to school, so they can’t work in general, including collect NIL

Ugonna went to high school in CT - so I doubt that applies to him
If he is a on student visa at all, he can’t collect NIL (US based NIL to be more specific) period. Source: I was on a student visa for 14 years from high school, college and then grad school

Fitting and befitting our style, I'd LOVE to see us secure Jones, Onyenso and Prior to carry us forward. Look at the Kasean Pryor highlights and see if you agree.
he's a junkyard dog (EDG?) from Chicago. Onyenso is a gazelle and blocks everything in sight. And Jones is a volume scorer that this team needs. Our games would be a track meet!

No more plodding 60-55 games....
