I doubt anything will come of the Storr tampering, even though it certainly did happen. It's happening with everyone, but we may have been a bit bold about it. Do you really think that either Storr's camp or us would divulge anything that may incriminate them?

But it would be peak Illinois to get the hammer dropped on us for tampering with a player we didn't even get.

The NCAA is losing power by the day, and every fight they take to court is another public showing of that fact.

I supposed the idealized scenario is:

Combo Guard: ?? (Maddox could've been perfect here)
Scoring Wing: David Jones (or Domask if he's magically back)
Rim Protector: Ugonna Onyenso (though I'm personally not a big fan)
Shooter Big: Ben Humrichous (or Coleman if he's magically back)

Insiders, any info on who the combo guard could be?

Ok I am just gonna go out on limb here.... There was no secret meeting in Minny... It was all a made up story to get us going and it clearly worked to help find the mole in our circle of friends.

Which would be a middle of the road team without very good three point shooting from our wings (Claude- White) but they are scorers that are coming from high major teams already. Pringle is just a big body and rebounder in the middle with very little offense or rim protection

I think we need to throw resources at Onyenso at get him on board given he has huge upside and immediate ELITE rim protection- he’s the biggest difference maker vs replacement value in our lineup IMHO- then if David Jones hits the portal we just need to find more NIL dollars and we don’t go after Claude in that scenario. Adding:

There 100% was a meeting between people from Storr's camp and Illinois people ...

HOWEVER - This meeting did not directly involve any student athlete or coach ...

It was not tampering ...
