Hunter did the same thing last year. Thinking playing for KU was going to elevate his game and get him into the league. Didn't happen, not sure it will even happen for him this next year. I believe Hunter has plateaued. I'm of the opinion that Storr will follow the same path, thinking one thing will happen, but it doesn't. We can revisit this a year from now and see if 0, 1, or both of them are drafted. If I were a betting man, I know where I'd place my $$$.Kylan Boswell isn't out there going door to door looking for an offer one penny higher.
Players are dealing with the same fog of war our staff is. What is their value? What school will make good on their promises and maximize their take? Really hard to tell. "Recruiting" in the classical sense is not dead, far from it.
