Richmond or Watkins, pretty please. Our bag may not be the biggest, but it's really big. We offer a great showcase (not suggesting others don't, but it's a select few)

side note: I love Demin, but if it's an exclusive or (XOR, nerds), I'm going with ~4 years older, very experienced alphas. I'll believe Demin's coming when the team announces him. Fletch/Sanderson should be a big plus here, kid needs to get stronger
27% from 3, 16 ppg on 13 attempts on Richmond is real tough.

Is there any chatter about ICON or a specific donor that has a bag for Coleman Hawkins to come back to Illinois?

Would Coleman come back to Illinois regardless with Ben signed? Just asking questions, don’t kill me Loyalty

Piper said it sounds like there's much of an appetite for Hawkins to come back to CU - mostly from Coleman - but that everyone seems to have moved on. I know we would all want him back if he wants to come back but talk about putting everything on hold... do you want to do that to keep stacking 6'8-6'10 guys who can shoot it pretty well and not protect the rim like a big or drive to the basket like a big guard?

INCOMING!!!!!!!!

Yeah I’ll admit I think I got this wrong, initially. I thought it would make more sense for him to come back to Champaign than to go anywhere else if he did come back to college. I can see now that it might be tough to make that work in practice, though, and it might make more sense for both parties if he does go somewhere else. Still hurts, though…

Really, at this point the only way I could see it possibly working is if he comes back to play on the perimeter as a big wing, and that would only make sense if we strike out everywhere else for that position.

He’s even got a very respectable 3p % over 40. Doesn’t do it in volume but appears to do it enough to make you respect it if he moves out. Will help create space for others if this is legit. I’d like to see more video.

Could always possibly see someone like Ben or Booth decommit and go somewhere else if Coleman returned.

That being said. I think you could realistically play Humrichous, Coleman, and Ivisic at the same time with Humrichous acting like the 3 on offense and Coleman being able to guard wings.

Oh boy would that be a long lineup with Coleman and Ivisic being able to switch a lot. I’m in.

Trilly said we're is in the mix for Kadary Richmond so maybe there might be something there fingers crossed
I'd LOVE Richmond. He's not the best shooter but he instantly adds size, incredible defending, more ball handling, and scoring to our backcourt. And he can play anywhere in the backcourt which gives us a 2 when Kylan is in, and a back up point guard when Kylan is sitting. I'd love this add.

He's from NY so maybe Antigua is the one leading this and may have some connections?

Evan Miya also has him as the 1st overall transfer (including those already committed). https://evanmiya.com/?homepage

I wouldn't describe Tomislav I. as a plodding center. Here is my quick take...skilled big man (hight FT, FG, 3FG%s), but is he really 7'0? Looks more like a 6-10 medium built, runs well. Not a defensive prescence at all, will not block shots and likely get dunked on. Not a quick leaper. I would say a quick comparable without giving a ton of thought is a Reink Mast type center. Mast is listed at 6-9, like I said Tomislav doesn't look like a 7 footer out there (not a dominating prescence).

So could see why BU likes him, a skill big man that can pass against double teams or across the court for an open 3 shooter. Can shoot the 3s and will spread the court. My concern is he is not a rim runner, will be a servicible defender and rebounder but not great. He also only plays 18 minutes/game...

So if we land him, I believe BU/Antigua will look for a low budget quick leaping rim running type center to play behind Morez or be a counter to something another team is doing. Don't think Booth will be that Center. Still think we need a low minute, your big men are in foul trouble type quick leaping center.

On that note also think we will look for a low cost, combo guard/PG to play behind Boswell, DGL and possibly TY. Obviously still looking for that 6-4+ scoring SG.

It's a lazy and obvious comparison but there's kind of a lot of Mike Tisdale to him. His brother is even more Tisdale-like physically, but they are twins.

Tomislav is listed at 7-1, 230 and looks it to me, I don't think he's Rienk Mast-like physically at all.

Here's a good photo of the bros, from 2023 apparently

I can confidently say that the middle one is shorter than the other two.
