My guess for lineup and bench

Boswell
Wooga or Demin
Tre White
Hum
Ivisic

Mediocre portal prospect
Dra
Ty/ Jake
Booth
Rez/Jak

This would be a good but not great team. I think it would finish somewhere between 5-8th in the Big10 and would be around a 7 seed in the tourney

How...how will we fill like 5 open spots?

This year is going to be so weird. And likely not very good. We have a lot of solid 6th man type spots, but very short in quality starters. With the exception of Boswell, the rest of the transfers are firmly depth pieces or maybe a good off the bench option. But not legit starters in the B1G i doubt. Then again...maybe one of them has a Domask like breakout?
WE HAVE QUALITY STARTERS!

Settle down. Give yourself until June to post this

No idea how accurate this info is, but it caught my eye. Saw somewhere else that we might be in a bidding war for Demin. Not sure what the chances are that we will be able to land him, but would be nice.

I will say this much: in my view, landing Ivisic would be the biggest deal of the bunch, because at least at that point we’d have a decent, viable starting lineup. I think Ivisic can spread the floor enough that it could make Ty startable again, if need be.

You could do worse than a lineup of
Boswell
Ty
Tre White
Humrichous
Ivisic

I’d still love to get a guy like Demin, Wooga or Chaz Lanier though. (And 2 of the 3 would be even better!)
Aren't we pretty much in a bidding war for any player we want?

Y'all who can't really watch the whole thing - just watch a few minutes from 11:45.
What he said there pretty much summarizes it.
Throughout that whole interview, to me it seemed, he really "kept open" the possibility of coming back to school (still think him going to the NBA is most likely tho) but really didn't say anything that makes you think he'll come back here. Mostly said things that'd make you think he'll go elsewhere if he were to come back tbh. Pretty saddening imo if that turns out to be the case. But everything is on the table I guess but...
Hope it doesn't go where I fear it will...

Well yes, but I meant that it’s still in that phase as opposed to the “finalizing” phase or whatever you want to call it, which appears to be the case with Ivisic.

Boswell, and Ty Rodgers, sure. Rodgers is not a scoring threat, though.

The rest are not proven quality starters. Some promising freshman coming in, but still freshman in a senior and super senior or super super senior dominated league.

We have time still, but it seems like the transfer well is running dry.

@Dan….I would vote for soupy to be credited with a thousand “likes” based on his efforts with the portal info.
Crazy amount of work that goes into that.
I don’t post too much and likely don’t have many “likes”, but if you’re stingy on crediting him those “likes”, feel free to transfer any of mine to soupy.
People care about “likes” on here? “Like” this comment if you agree.

This guy also claims that we're getting Wagner.

We don't need to fill all 5 open spots. Really we only NEED two more guys, a perimeter scorer and a true center.

Big holes that need quality solutions, but what we have so far is a pretty good start. Boswell, Booth and White are really talented (as is Morez of course), Ty impacts games, and Humrichous is the kind of guy that makes a team much tougher to play. We're on the right track.
