...Or Coleman...I suppose then right...?
I mean, Coleman coming back has been discussed as a pretty much no shot here...but I mean...all options are on the table last time I checked...

is an unofficial commitment imminent for the wing transfer? The plan as of now is to add 1 more ... Unless something crazy happens and it's an opportunity Brad can't pass up ...
I do think if Nico wanted to come back ... They would do it ... They would be less hesitant to do it if it would push them to 13 though ... Brad wants one open ...
It’s Brads fantasy basketball team. We don’t get to play. I’m hoping to develop some attachment to this team next year but my general sense is that’s not going to happen. I hope college basketball figures this out soon.I wish Brad would just focus on getting more top tier vs a bunch of mids. Historically Brad doesn’t go much more than 8 deep so why then have/pay a roster of a bunch of mids that will never see the floor? Maybe he’s planning to open it up a bit more? Specially I’m referring to Tre and Carey. I feel we would have been much better just bundling the NIL for both of those players to get one stud. Very little point in have a really deep roster if you are not using it, barring any injuries.
I'm reading way too much into this. We have three spots open, only adding one more still leaves us two open. Breadcrumb that someone is locked up already? The plan as of now is to add 1 more ... Unless something crazy happens and it's an opportunity Brad can't pass up ...

Sean Harrington shot 42.8% from 3 for his entire career in the Big Ten. He had a high season of 45.9% and his worst season was 39.7%. Jake Davis so far has only had 1 season where he shot 38.7% against much weaker competition.
I think people forget how good of a shooter Sean Harrington was.

Coleman has played his last game as an Illini ...
Boswell, Humrichous, Tomislav, an unnamed 2 guard, Rodgers, DGL, Morez, Booth, White....Outside of Jake, Jakstys, and Nico (if he comes back) I honestly can't think of one guy we've added that you'd even have an adequate argument by labeling them as "a bunch of mids that will never see the floor."
I'm reading way too much into this. We have three spots open, only adding one more still leaves us two open. Breadcrumb that someone is locked up already?
will it make us feel Ecstatic, Grateful, Optimistic, and Rejuvenated??The plan as of now is to add 1 more ... Unless something crazy happens and it's an opportunity Brad can't pass up ...
Everyone - i know that a lot of you Guys will be asking me whO that one may be but Really ... you should just be patient and let them finish cooking ... the meal will be Delightful, Exceptional, Magnificent, Impactful, and Noteworthy ...

Nico beats an empty chair for sure, and would be valuable just in terms of another foreigner who has been through the trials and tribulations of college basketball if Ivisic and Demin are both newbies on the team.Think we could leave 2 open ... The ideal plan is to leave 2 open ...
Marcus was an excellent scorer before he came here. I personally think he isn't a good comparison to White and Booth.Brad is bringing in EDGs not just a bunch of mids. A roster of 12 or 13 can't all get a lot of minutes, but they can all work together to make each other better. With the addition of a few more teammates like those brought in so far, what a team, what a competitive practice, what potential. Marcus was a mid from a Mid. That worked out well, didn't it?
He specifically referred to packaging Tre/Booth in exchanging a top tier player. I think the confusion (if I may say) comes from the fact that we have not gotten Egor/Richmond. With either one of them in the fold, I think Tre and Booth are perfect complimentary pieces with more upside in their 2nd year (if they choose to stick around). You mean like Kylan, Tomislav, Egor/Kadary?
Also a lot of high major coaches love Humrichous

Well, now I'm really confused, but still excited to see how it plays out.Think we could leave 2 open ... The ideal plan is to leave 2 open ...
Brad is only going to play 8, maybe 9 guys ... Jakstys is going to redshirt ...

I also like him as a player, physical limitations aside.

One injury to Boswell from that changing.Brad likes Nico ... There is no bad blood ... If Nico wants to return, they would have those discussions ... But he has to understand that he isn't going to play here next year ... It would be to come and sit and play with the PWO when we are up 30 and run scout team in practice ... Does he want to do that ?
Or maybe two injuries from that happening hopefully…One injury to Boswell from that changing.
It's good that the staff is honest with kids about these expectations, the bigger culture problems come from lying to them about how much they can expect to play, but, y'know, you still catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.
In theory........but he'd be a great insurance policy, and these last several years have taught us that those are needed.Brad likes Nico ... There is no bad blood ...
