How could you not be a fan of Coleman after everything he accomplished here and how far he helped advance this basketball program?
It's like a human saying "i'm not a fan of breathing but...."

That is if he is coming here to playI think you're forgetting that Demin's natural position is PG also. We'll have plenty of ball handling.
Nope. After 2005, has to be UCONN. Can't stand N.C!Yeah...Coleman to UConn, after they just dropped a 30-0 run in the E8 on a team he helped lead, would be hard to swallow. Hard to imagine saying this 10 years ago, but I would be absolutely thrilled to see him on UNC if it were down to just those two.
Bingo ...
If he does come back to college ... Anywhere but UNC or UCONN would shock me ...
don’t sugar coat it, how do you really feel ?View attachment 34653
I love Coleman. Watching him grow up over 4 years and be a leader of the Elite Eight team. Gave everything. However if he chooses to play college basketball elsewhere he is dead to me. I will remember him as someone who chose to play against the Illini. He will no longer be an Illini all time great. Its an insult to all the other all time Illini greats - Eddie Johson, Bruce Douglas, Dee Brown, Deron Williams, Nick Anderson, Kendall Gill, Kenny Battle, Terrance Shannon. None of them abandoned Illinois to play for another school
I mean, how does he get the massive bag at St. John's of all places? And why isn't our bag way bigger than theirs? Or maybe it already is, but anyway the bottom line is Richmond is going there and he's not going here. That's a miss. I really hope we go all out for Demin. Anything less and we're looking at a 6 to 8 seed caliber team.having a massive bag is not indicative of being a great salesman

disagree. 10 is more than enough, and you wouldn't want to dilute the talent of your best guys to save resources for those extra spots.Bonus points for the Manchurian Candidate work-in.
Bret? Is that you?
I wonder what any of those guys would have done if they had say 500,000 to a cool million of NIL offered to them?don’t sugar coat it, how do you really feel ?
Agreed. Lately our prognostications have more misses than hits. I'll cautiously optimistic. It’s tempting to believe that Demin will be on next year’s team, but having a hard time getting there after RayJ, Storr, and not even getting Jones into the portal.
Hope this time can be different—can’t argue with the talent.
Sadly, I don't ever see the Nike coaches half-zips for sale. It's a shame, because I feel like these would be big sellers. As you said, they look great. They would also sell well since I'm sure people would like to wear the same things the coaching staff are wearing on the sidelines.Where can I find this quarter zip (and/or the white one)? These are great.
My wife is a very loyal person. She would leave me for that kind of money. I might encourage it and figure out how to split it down the road.I wonder what any of those guys would have done if they had say 500,000 to a cool million of NIL offered to them?
They raise an interesting question, how did Egor end up on our radar or vice versa? Was somebody looking at draft projections and current salaries and pieced together that we might be open to listening? Was this an OA connection that Cal didn’t really need? The guys at Sleepers caught wind of the Egor talk
Nah, football's bag isn't as bigBret? Is that you?
I think every player on the team deserves NIL money.Good backup PG. Can handle the ball, makes good passes and can hit the open 3. Undersized so limited on defense. 5 minutes a game to give Boswell a break. Would help maintain BTT champs elite 8 history and EDG culture. JMO - I think its worth a little NIL to help him come back. Every year he works with Fletch he is going to improve.

Do yourself a favor and don’t buy any personalized jerseys for the next few years. You are adjusting to this new world of college basketball worse than I am.View attachment 34653
