Love what Brad is doing here. If I had OA in Spain selling the national spotlight to Egor's agents I would be doing the same!
I truly think he is working a long term play for AJ Dybantsa with the roster construction. If Demin thrives and shoots up draft boards it becomes a viable option for him. Then he gets to play with his guy Jeremiah Fears, a SO Morez Johnson, Sr Boswell, Ivisic....man...preseason #1 overall with that roster.

Okay, which is better? Sign the two transfer players (guards/wings?) NOW that the staff has identified? Or wait until Demin makes a decision? I suppose there's always a chance that Demin to Illinois will be a NO, and that NEITHER of the two other transfers will be available at that time. I'm leaning toward putting a full court press on Demin's recruitment and waiting for his decision. But I might have some conversations with those two other players in the interim.
Man with the influx of talent in the B10 through the portal, adding Duke and Alabama to the non-conference schedule and Juwan Howard gone from Michigan, Illinois really needs to add Demin. Their schedule is gonna be brutal next year.
