Donā€™t recall his name, but I will never forget the manager yelling at me and calling me a ā€œP****ā€ for not wanting to pick roaches out from the sporks, which is just a bizarre thing to call a teenage girl. Different times back then, for sure! Just to haunt you furtherā€¦ if you think the spork roaches were bad, you really donā€™t wanna know what the cooks were doing with the ones they caught. šŸ˜±
Wow!! Iā€™m legit sorry you had to deal with thatā€¦and for anyone who had the misfortune to dine in that establishment. šŸ˜‚

You'll start to hear how "Illinois doesn't need or want a 12th or 13th man". Total BS and spin doctoring.

The reality is that it's hard to fill out a roster in this current environment with guys who fit. Kansas couldn't get to 13 and they're Kansas.
Agree 100%. When you're filling 3 spots because the rest of the roster is the way you want it, you can really drill down and be focused on your "acquisitions". When you're chasing 8(or whatever it was), you get to a point where there's just not enough out there that fits. If we get Demin(which is still highly questionable), Brad will have pulled off one of his greatest feats here. It's unsustainable to do this year over year however.

Hopefully, we'll be really, really good and won't suffer the same attrition next year.

Time will tell.

I believe this is 100% correct. You need 12/13 scholarship players. We will probably only play 10 at the max, but we need these players for practice. Competitive practice, cover injuries, and a Brad wholesale substitution when he is pissed.

I donā€™t think it makes sense for Fears to join at semester. Itā€™s hard to join a team mid season. Usually the player redshirts (Nico, Dain), or just isnā€™t able to get his bearings (Perrin).

If Jeremiah were okay with redshirting and focusing on physical development, maybe. But I think heā€™s better off playing and I think itā€™s pretty unlikely that he can jump in, adjust to college life, academics etc on the fly and still carve out a rotation spot.

How many 17 year old re class guards actually work out?
Your opinion is always valid, but in this case, not sure he's worked out YET. His production has not matched his ranking/hype....YET. There were definitely maturity issues at Arizona. I think that he's going to be one heck of a player for us, but I would also say that one extra year at the prep level wouldn't have hurt.

ties will be resolved
After watching multiple Tre White highlight videos I think we might have a keeper.Nice stroke, elite athlete, good defender, under rated passer. This staff has an elite eye for talented BB players.

yeah, pretty hard to believe that a kid ranked ~35th in his class is a sleeper, but he is. obviously, the Ville dumpster fire has a lot to do with it. could be extra bases, if not a homer. real good pickup (think Tim was the lead)

Do we have an official visit signed up for Egor?

Didn't he transfer because it wasn't working out?
He was losing time to another guard by the name of Bradley who shot 46.4% from 3. Does losing playing time mean things aren't working out? Chicken versus the egg. There were some articles in the AZ Republic about Boswell losing playing time...
