College coaches are specifically disputing the fact that practice and drills are not important? (I’m not calling you a liar. But man I find that hard to believe.)

What have College coaches specifically said? That’s interesting .I am genuinely curious.

Are you sure this isn’t more about lack of QUALITY of drills & skills being taught at the Youth/AAU level than the QUANITITY of practice time?

The quality is everything:
Practice might make perfect. Practice might also make Permanent. What if you’re practicing the wrong things? Not good.

I mean AAU sucks. And of course that is definitely…play, play, play…and virtually, zero skill development. I think most college coaches and (even regular school coaches) dislike AAU for those reasons.
I really like good Zone Defense.
AAU almost makes me hate it. So many learned bad habits.

It’s no way we have the NIL that many claim we do… you’ll think after an elite 8 run this offseason would have been less stressful

I don't know...maybe cut the guy some slack. That picture make Egor look like a 7 footer standing next to a legit 6'7 Luka. Not saying he's 7', just that it wasn't a crazy observation.

Right there with you Bub. The band is doing their sound check, and I'm just starting on my second vodka martini in order to continue reading the always fascinating posts about recruiting without going completely off the rails. BTW, in oder to start another debate, I've made a thorough survey of vodkas from bottom shelf to top shelf, and my provisional verdict is that Tito's makes the best martinis.
