Kasparas Jakucionus was called a dark horse yesterday
There's some tough competition, but I think we have a shotKasparas Jakucionus was called a dark horse yesterday
Indy, that was nasty. Liking the Messi hints better.
You know I remember liking that Bill Self winking GIF when it first started coming around back when Self was potentially helping out with the TSJ case and when he seemed to play a role in Liam McNeeley de-commiting from Indiana.
AJ Storr, Kasparas Jakucionus, Zeke Mayo, AND Rylan Griffen to join Dickinson, Adams, and possibly Furphy? Holy cow.
Which is why I think we have a decent shot with Jakucionus if we go that route. Way more pt to sellAJ Storr, Kasparas Jakucionus, Zeke Mayo, AND Rylan Griffen to join Dickinson, Adams, and possibly Furphy? Holy cow.
FWIW I saw Watkins play in person at the ACC tourney in March v. a mediocre VA Tech team. He bagged 34, including 14-17 from the line, a 67% eFG and 11 boards (9 defensive) on 2 fouls and 4 TOs. My impression at the time, having never seen him play, was that he was a man among boys in the 2H when he took over. VT had no answer for him driving, which is why he ended up on the line so much. He had 12 pts in the final three minutes, 10 of 10 from the line and a flush. Hard to say what he'd look like v. a top-tier B1G team but I found him fairly impressive against VT when he turned it on.
Probably gambling for steals instead of just being solid. That's pretty interesting. Wells definitely is a three-point launcher. Are these stats for the whole year? How did Watkins average 3.8 steals, and still have a lower defensive rating than either Wells or tsj? Also a lot more turnovers than Wells, but he probably had the ball in his hands a lot more, I would guess.
I'm going 6'3.5Simple google search and you get 3 different height stats for him. Height: 6'-2"-6'-5" depending who is standing next to him...

I think others have answered it - but those are points per 100 possessions stats. So the defensive ratings are how many points in those 100 possessions the player would be expected to give up (the lower the better obviously) - it combines steals, blocks, and has some additional factors to calculate it.That's pretty interesting.
