My grandfather was a Dutch immigrant at the turn of the century. Never really mastered English. I used to hear him refer to people as baskets. Not till I was older was I made aware that he thought he was saying bastard. No one ever corrected him. Just as well!
Some would probably say I qualify for either description!

Who remembers this awesome Great America coaster back in the Marriott’s days?

Travis Branham on 247 says that it appears that Riley is leaning toward reclassifying and committing to Illinois. 🤣 He then gives a hot take that Riley is to thin and inexperienced to play right away! BUT - He thinks that he may be an asset later in the season! 🤦‍♂️ Apparently even guys who get paid to give their “educated” opinions can spout some uninformed hot takes!
Honestly we really won't know until we see. Have seen plenty of 5 star recruits not make an impact immediately(especially guys reclassing).

Obviously hope he ends up being a freshman Kevin Durant type who also looked like he would've blown away in a stiff breeze and was the nPOY. However it wouldn't necessarily be the biggest surprise if he took some time to acclimate.

Feel like we may be setting ourselves up for disappointment if we're expecting him to immediately step in and score like Shannon or Domask.

That's basically him saying Kentucky didn't get him so he needs a reason why they stopped chasing him.

Never thought I’d see the day where college basketball needs a salary cap

Some would say: Boomers, Gen. Jones, Gen.X, Millenials, Zoomers

Promise, I didn’t make it up…some journalist did. But then of course journalist made up the names of the others as well.
There is also Xennials, “micro-generation” between Gen X and Millenials. Wikipedia page for it and everything. 1977-1983, which is me.
