Not with OA
By the way, this picture was at a game last year when Jasper scored 42 points and yes, OA was wearing orange socks.
Is that OA on Cal’s right? That’s not OA. Thats Cal
No its not.Is that OA on Cal’s right?
Is that Chin on Cal’s left?No its not.
Happy Birthday, Captain America!Man, I log on here and see all the weird posts happening on my birthday ya'll...that ain't right. Let's light some fireworks tonight and celebrate what Underwood and Company have brought here to Illinois.
Yes, but no orange socks to be found eitherIs that Chin on Cal’s left?
No, OA has a chin, that guy doesn't. No pun intended LOLIs that OA on Cal’s right?
Last time this was posted was about Kasparas and then we got him. Guessing this is another dark horse on the horizon.
Think it might mean Illinois is the dark horse?Last time this was posted was about Kasparas and then we got him. Guessing this is another dark horse on the horizon.
The Fighting Johnsons. I'd like to see the mascot. The Almighty Johnsons. (It was a decent show.)
That would be me.I don't know if you are actually asking about how your son could graduate early or just questioning how these athletes do it, but if it is the latter...
They go to prep schools in different states where they get to focus on basketball and basically get whatever they need "academically". I'd guess that most of them leave a lot to be desired with SAT and ACT scores. Just because someone gets credit for a class, doesn't mean they are any better off or learned anything from it.
BTW, I'm not being an old man complaining, because I could care less, since I know college basketball is now a job, not about an education.
That is key. That list just shows how impressive BU has been. We’ve had 2 fringe first round type guys in the past 5 years, he’s gotten us the most big ten wins, 3 big ten championships (should be 4), an elite 8 and a number 1 seed. He’s been able to roster construct and coach up the Trent’s, d’montes, Feliz, grandersons, Giorgi B, etc.
Assuming he is landing the right attitude guys, imagine what he can do with this next level of talent.

So we will take Jasper in 24 as a Reclass but not fears in 24 as a Reclass?I wouldn’t say it’s done deal that’s he’s reclassifying … But it’s on the table …
There’s always a reason a kid slams in 3 visits in a weeks time right before Peach Jam …
And there’s also a reason Brad went back to the big boy donors and said be ready for my call …
And I’ll tell y'all right now … If Brad goes to those guys and says I can get Jasper … Here’s the amount … For this year … As long as it’s the number I’ve been told … They’ll do it …
Boosters got that Elite 8 taste last year and they want an f’ing natty …

I'm not going to pretend to know everything that's being thought but they obviously just think Jasper is better than Fears. Which every recruiting service in the country would agree with.So we will take Jasper in 24 as a Reclass but not fears in 24 as a Reclass?
oh my god, dude, are you seriousIt sure looks like him.
Watch this video:
It was not even a little close at the FIBA U18 tournament. Jasper was head and shoulders better with a much more mature game than Fears, on both ends of the court.I'm not going to pretend to know everything that's being thought but they obviously just think Jasper is better than Fears. Which every recruiting service in the country would agree with.
Also, it seems like they would have taken fears if he redshirted but didn't think he would be able to play a role as a 17 year old freshman. They obviously must think Jasper is more capable of making an immediate impact.
Which just my observation but Jasper looks much more physically ready than Fears to play at the college level and he's a bit taller. DGL looks small on the court and he's seems significantly bulkier than Fears is.
And that's saying a lot because Fears is a very good player. It was not even a little close at the FIBA U18 tournament. Jasper was head and shoulders better with a much more mature game than Fears, on both ends of the court.
Agree Fears is good, and probably better than he showed in that tournament, but it wasn't just him getting buried for no good reason. Jasper (and the other backcourt pieces) were significantly better options. And that's saying a lot because Fears is a very good player.
Pretty incredibleoh my god, dude, are you serious
Trey McKenney wasn’t. That dude looked horrible. The others were better though.Agree Fears is good, and probably better than he showed in that tournament, but it wasn't just him getting buried for no good reason. Jasper (and the other backcourt pieces) were significantly better options.
