Best case scenario is he goes to a non B1G team and transfers back to Illinois for 2025. Regardless of where he goes for 2024, I imagine that the people he would expect to play over are not going to take too kindly to his late addition. Special player though, hope to see him in the future

1. MSU to play with bro
2. BYU because they came with the salt bag
3. UK because (and it makes me laugh to say this) they gettin seriously desperate

But if he and his family and advisors consider a reclass to be in his best interest, then I guess it only makes sense he would have to look elsewhere given the state of our roster currently.

But this is a bit of a bummer.

Wish him well if he does decide to go elsewhere but wondering where exactly he’s thinking of going? Most top 25 ish programs have to be pretty set at the guard position. MSU to play with his brother maybe? But they both play the same position and Izzo just parked a 5 star frosh on the bench prettymuch the whole year because he wasn’t physically ready. We will see I guess.

My guess is he has already talked to/ been contacted by a program(s) and has a pretty good idea where he is going.

My question is, does this help with Jasper Johnson? Please do not misunderstand, I am sad to see Fears go; really, really good player.

Ugh, the hurting... Everybody wants to rule the world. I was head over heels for Jeremiah. It makes me want to shout, but at the end of the day, you just have to remember that people run in circles. It's a very, very mad world.

This is oversimplification but we used to have "this" happen to us because we weren't good enough. Now it's because our roster is too good. Pretty wild.

This doesn’t move the needle for me at all, honestly. If he wants to reclass and start making NIL immediately, we don’t have a spot for him. I know nothing and am pretty much Schmucky the clown over here, but I am POSITIVE the staff knew this was happening. With the way guys are transferring every 5 minutes perhaps we’ll see him down the line,

To be clear, if he was staying in the 2025 class, this would be a tougher pill to swallow. If a reclass is what he wants, no space is left here.

It also explains some of these official visits the last couple weeks.

I hope the crazy side of the fan base do NOT go after this kid. In this day and age I would not be shocked in the slightest for him to be an Illini in a year or two. I am sure he would gladly come this year, but we do not have the space/playing time.
