Bundalo: thought he was a Miller/X lean, if not a strong lean

I'd rather have the Finn, but Bundalo would be a fantastic consolation prize

Maybe he saw the Illini exhibition game and figures he’d like to play at a place where defense is only a suggestion. 😎

The 3 he is eliminating all have commits from guys who are listed at PF or C, though not sure any are ranked as high as him. Then there is that pesky NIL money.

Does anyone know if the ON3 NIL estimates, as well as deals already in effect, are in the ballpark or better? Are there more accurate estimates on other sites? I looked, but didn't find a lot.

I'm just waiting for the 5* (or high 4*) who re-opens commitment looking for more NIL and ends up with enough less to open eyes. Until then, I'm not sure you can ever say you have someone signed until they are actually enrolled for the fall semester. (And can you even then?)

It may be accurate for what a national brand may have to pay the kid, but it is not accurate at all for players being payed by boosters. A lot of that is case by case anyway and ON3 estimates are not based on anything factual

Articles like these will be more accurate: https://www.cbssports.com/college-b...-asked-you-or-your-staff-to-pay-for-a-player/

yes. There's no point in taking any high school kid that isn't a top 30 guy or a project. All the ones in between transfer. So you take no brainers and projects from high school, and fill out most of your roster through the transfer portal.

I hate it, but it's what college basketball is if you're smart.
And I suspect it is clearly communicated to our non top 30 prep recruits that it will take a year or two of hard works to see the floor.

Is there another Garcia's in the area? My father-in-law said he just had Garcia's a few weeks ago.
Papa Del's still exists, too. It's just that all of those restaurants he mentioned are no longer on Green Street. They either closed or moved.

Right by what remains of La Bamba. It's like a Twilight Zone of 80s bests. Edit: @Gunner22 beat me to it.

Garcia's died on campus the moment they moved out of the 2-story location on Wright St., IMO. I know it hung around for a few years further down Green St., but that location was far enough from campus that it didn't get the benefit of heavy foot traffic that you get at Green and Wright.

As long as the tomato balloon never goes away... *nostalgic sigh*
