where would that put him on current Illinois roster? Funny, we have heard 2 Million for Hawkins and 750K-1 Million for Storr but I haven't seen or heard a single number on current Illinois players.

My made up estimates:
KJ 1.25 million
Tomi 900K
Riley 900K
Boswell 750K
White 500K
Morez 500K
Humrichous 500K but I have a feeling we paid more like 1 million
Davis, Rogers, DGL, Booth 200K or less.

Based on my guesses, Illinois NIL budget = 6+ million (seems high)

Booth and 200k … Next to each other …

I think we will see less extravagant spending across the board with revenue sharing on the horizon

I'll zag and say we see more because this might be the last and best time to blow serious cash with no repercussions. Guessing that folks will front-load as a preventative measure.

I think KJ was under a million and tomi did not get 900k, theres alot more to trim considering the consensus is 4 million. I'm hoping we can keep NIL still around the same and when you add in 4-5m from revenue sharing we should be one of stronger programs out there financially.

Bring AJ Storr in at half the price of last year. Martinelli is a winning player who would add a ton of value.

Convince Larry Ellison to switch back to the beloved and write KJ a big check after convincing him that it would be fun to run it back with his friend Dame (relax everyone on this board who love to tell people when they're wrong to increase their fake insider credentials, I know this isn't happening...)

Want absolutely nothing to do with Storr …

Are we still in on Alex Constanza? I think he is really good and has a ton of potential.

Think the plan for him is to stay 2026 for now … But could end up being a Will Riley type situation on the late re class … But what will our roster look like at the time he decides ? I can tell you we won’t be waiting around hoping he reclassifies …

We aren’t getting both him and Sarr IMO … Think we add Sarr and add a portal wing that’s more proven … See: Martinelli, Watkins, etc.

I know this Constanza kid is real good, maybe better than Riley. But worth $1M? I am sorry if this is not a proper question.

Haven't read SI in years but they dropped a fairly interesting article on Blake Harper today that delves a bit into the portal and tampering. Would be cool to see Harper stay at Howard and develop imo.

In the spirit of March to the Arch occuring.

If the staff decides to dip back into the MVC again this off-season I would absolutely love Stirtz. Though I'd bet he stays with McCollum or follows him if he gets another job.

I wouldn't mind going back to SIU and getting Kennard Davis for a bench role either though. Good size, skills, and athlete. Another guy I really like is Schwieger if they want to poach from Powell at Valpo but he doesn't seem like the type Brad likes. Schwieger can play though and id love him backing up Morez and Tomi though I think he could start at a lot of power conference schools.

Finally, rounding out the MVC guys. I don't think there is really a role at Illinois for him but I think Ty Pence(St Joe) could end up being a very good mid major player. Honestly, I think he develops into a better player than Jake Davis and could end up being a role player at the power conference level as a senior.

It would be nice to land an experienced wing that can actually hit 3s at a regular pace at the B1G level.
I want an Andrew Funk or Lee Humphrey type sharpshooter on the wing(or big guard) so badly.

This years team is missing it, last years team was missing that shooter. Plummer was the last high volume knockdown shooter we had but he was too small to play defense.
