He said it wasn't about money. Others didn't.If that’s the case, why didn’t they pony up more to keep Johnson?
If Josh Whitman isn’t careful he’s going to have another Iowa on his hands. Players needed to win championships won’t be interested and he’ll have a good but stubborn coach on his hands that has stagnated the program. Not there yet but headed there. Especially when the donor $$ dries up.
Hummer is a good mid-major player, IMO.Do we hate him, or do we just think he isn't any good at basketball? If he turns it around great, we all want him too, but doubt he will.
You know what they say…..it’s lonely at the top.Expecting multiple portal entries today …

This is ridiculous. Tre is a huge loss in my opinion. I’m really starting to get ticked at BU.Tre wanted to stay … Tre would’ve stayed if certain things were done (NOT $$$ related) …
Brad unwilling to make changes … Here we are …
In terms of the ridiculous comment … I agree … See my note below …

Not true my friend. You are now well prepared for the frustration of next season. The frustration of this past season was pretty much all for nothing...

He had one year at 41% at a lower level. We now have a year of evidence of what he does at this level. I will place more trust in what he showed in the B10, not at Evansville.Exactly lol, the Ben hate is so dumb when the majority of his downfall was shooting below his career average
I will take a Rodman like player any day of the week.Oh I agree good luck and God's speed. Like him but he will be more Rodman than Malone.
Let's remove the 3pt line, it was a silly mistake too add one, no shame in removing it!Ok this is becoming a joke. How long until college basketball becomes the NBA, and people stop watching? The NBA became a snoozefest, and we sadly aren't far behind. No one is acting quickly enough to establish some rules, parameters, contracts, etc. to stop this nonsense. If i was age 18-23, I would take the money also if someone threw a 7 figure amount at me. Anyone in their right mind would. The NCAA is and always has been a disgrace, and it continues to show. The leadership punts on hard issues, and looks the other way.
Maybe Morez and his camp were more of a PITA than we the fans are aware of and Illinois just decided that an undersized center that cant do much else but rebound and dunk (and he does both very well to be sure) and fouls a lot (which he also does very well) were not worth doubling their investment and that money could be used on a player that fits what they want to do better.I find it challenging to hear at one time, Morez was offered a lot of money, we're in a bidding war for Sarr, but then also we've got tons of money, we can definitely throw $2 million at a specialist.
We feel like about 2008 under Weber atm. U can see the writing on the wall that Underwood isn’t gonna be much longer for the job. And he is nowhere near the game coach Bruce was. We’re on the fast track …
Could be wrong but seems like a “no one will tell me how to run my program” attitude even if it is pissing in the windIf this stuff on Humrichous is true I’d love to know what Brad and/or Tyler earnestly *believe* they’re seeing that everyone else watching every game in which he plays is missing.
It just doesn’t jive with the alleged narratives that Morez and others have offered on their way out the door “I was asked to do _____ because it leads to winning but it hinders personal growth.”
What is Humrichous being asked to do, that he’s also successfully executing consistently, that led to a bunch of wins this year? What are those things that we all evidently missed?
