I would assume Braden Smith (JR) and TKR (JR) enter NBA draft. JMO - they both played significantly better than KJ and WR this season.

Sounds like "Plan A" has been secured. Losing any of these 3 would be a huge blow. Those were the guys who were consistently good and engaged.

Tomi and Morez are just so critical to our success. Quality big guys are really hard to find.

I've been critical of Kylan a few times, but "March Kylan" was absolutely superb. I love that we will get to watch him take that momentum forward. We will need his toughness.

I would take Jake, DGL, Ben and Ty back for low $NIL. They are valuable role players. I think culture and continuity is important too. All gave great effort when they were in game.

I wonder if we would consider AJ Storr. He committed in HS so we must have liked something. Had a beast sophomore year at Madison. Might be more reasonably priced now. Great athleticism. I guess it depends if Tre returns. Tre had his moments. Would be nice if he could get stronger like Roger Powell and be able to occasionally guard bigger players. Seems silly we had to use Kylan on 6'10" Cooper Flag.

I'll say this, we will have a huge advantage over the rest of the conference outside of Purdue. Bringing a ton of core guys back and multiple who can be All League. Hit on two good players along with one or two role guys in the portal plus adding Sarr while retaining a good portion of your core, and next year will be fun.

I haven’t been following the Sarr recruitment. Is he a day 1 starter like KJ and Tomi?

You look at some of the challenging seasons at NIL powerhouses this year, and I think we ought to be a little careful about adding too much in the portal.

Enough so that you're deep and robust against injury risk, but not so much that who the leaders and culture drivers are becomes a question mark.

Agreed, that's why I think they add three to four guys max.
