I’m telling you what I’ve been told by former and current players and coaches … Tyler running the show is causing problems/has caused problems … Hamer running the show is causing problems/has caused problems …

It’s the Brad/Tyler/Hamer show … Many players are over it … SOME donors are over all of it including Brad and some are willing to let Brad change course and bring in new coaches … Two of our previous assistants said to heck with it …

It’s a problem … Brad can either fix it or he can roll with it but if he rolls with it and doesn’t have success in March next year … He should be prepared to be fired come season end and he can take his boy and leggings boy with him …
Remember when most people were over Brad a few weeks ago and then two nice wins made everything ok? Sounds like our worries are confirmed and things are not ok. Prioritizing Ben over anyone else on the roster should be a fireable offense.

I’d rather regress next year and miss the tournament if it means we can make the second weekend in two years, than run it back with a first weekend exit and delay what is starting to look inevitable

I'm going to be taking a break as well. Got a nasty dm from someone in here that put it over the top. We will be fine, I'll see ya'll in a bit.
I may not always agree with some of your points, but you always give great information. Again, thanks for giving the time of day to us. I hope you come back soon.

Disappointing that people have to take it too far.

When threads get out of control, Dan usually shuts them down at the start of a new month/week/day.

This one might need hourly cleanup.

Or maybe we just shut this topic down indefinitely. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Then we would have to shut down the entire Illinois Basketball section of the site. Everything is so interconnected.

Why the **** are we negotiating NIL deals in February? To 'lock' people into lower value contracts?

In a market where you better KNOW that you can be backchannelled at any time before the portal closes, we should be giving people that we want to keep an offer, and telling them to come to us if they have a better one. Saying that we had someone 'signed' in this environment reflects poorly on the coaches. It doesn't matter and you should know it doesn't matter. What genius is running this thing?

“Prioritizing Ben”, Jfc you guys are taking what these moronic “insiders” say way too seriously. Ben accepted less money and owned up to his poor play instead of blaming the offense and yet you’re mad at him?? Give me a break

Yes I the thought occurred to me myself. If we were hitting our threes our rebounds would go down and if we were missing our offensive rebounding usually went up. They kinda offset each other. When that was happening we usually still had a shot at winning. The thing is when we are missing them you have to get multiple offensive rebounds to make up for it. The games we weren't getting those rebounds we usually got beat.
We usually got CRUSHED.

Fixed it for ya.

Does this not feel like the deflating years after 2005 for Bruce though?
Not even close. We are in portal season after making the Big Dance. Everyone needs a little perspective and meds. This is what happens when 18 - 22-year-olds, their family, handlers and Agents learned about this magical portal that grows bags of $$ to hand out with no restriction. It is capitalism out of control, and exactly why the real world does not work this way. It is doomed to fail as currently situated.

Anyone who needs to DM crap to anyone else on this board needs to change out of their Jammies, crawl up the stairs from Mom's basement and get a life. This is not a legal forum on the fate of the known universe, it's a college basketball fan page. It is ENTERTAIMENT. No more, no less.

We’re nowhere near that pit. Underwood raised our floor to where whoever coaches here going forward will have an easier transition after BU leaves.
