I hear you. I note, though, that universities have lost their way in areas much more meaningful than intercollegiate athletics, at least in my opinion. Back to sports: the old system, which had many significant flaws, is not coming back. But the medieval disorder currently in place must, and quickly will, be replaced I bet.

Trent Frazier definitely took a step back his Jr year after great Fr. and Soph campaigns. While there was certainly frustration, no one was on Trent's case because we'd already developed an affinity for him. If these kids are going to bounce from school to school, then they need to accept that fact that they need to perform and that fan support isn't necessarily just handed out for free.

No hate from me. If he is back I want him to shoot the gym lights out. I have been doing this from the late 70’s until now. Tough gig but no quit in me. Hope 2025-2026 is better than 2024-2025. Isn’t that how it usually is for us fellow Illini?

I spend a day on the golf course and with family and come back to even more chaos than yesterday 😂

Can’t believe some of yall feel the need to send hate mail to people on this board, let alone the people who make it really worth our while. Take a lorazepam or something ppl.

I mean, this is just 100% spot on. I have no idea how anyone can’t see this and how Brad can’t see that it’s causing apocalyptic level problems for his program. Every Day Guys my a$$… his culture has become a laughing stock.

Here’s what I’ll say … You don’t have to agree with my posts … You don’t have to like my posts … But I post the raw, unfiltered truth from multiple angles (donors, current players, former players, coaches, other coaches, agents, etc.) … Not through orange and blue glasses …

It may not always be the popular take or make people happy but it’s the truth in many cases or how I see it in others … And if that gets people fired up then so be it … 🤷🏻‍♂️

Personally - I think I give credit where it’s due and criticism where it’s fair … I support our programs and coaches until I am unable to stand behind them anymore and see changes that need to be made and I voice my opinion based around the facts I know and the information I’ve received …

As others have mentioned … The DMs not only this week but this past year for myself have been absolutely ridiculous and I can understand why many on here may decide to be done and take a break …

😂 Your level of delusion should be studied. Go take a statistics class. The Elite 8 TSJ Illinois basketball team was the Outlier in Brad Underwood’s tenure at Illinois . Brad Underwood will never get to the Final 4 or win a National Championship at the University of Illinois. I know you may not feel this way but there are actually University of Illinois Men’s basketball fans and supporters that want to reach a Final 4 and win a national championship. We are not happy about making it to one elite 8 in 20 years or once in Underwood’s 8 year tenure a The University of Illinois Men’s Basketball coach Brad is getting paid entirely too much money for his ROI. NIL and Transfer portal changes things.Sometimes things just need to end and people need to move on

Why in the world are people even DMing on an Illinois basketball message board?? This place is my favorite form of “social media”. I sometimes let my emotions get best of me and probably (no definitely) post dumb stuff sometimes and dont always agree with others opinions (kind of the point). But taking it beyond that seems ridiculous.

Sorry to anyone who has to go through that. Please be better.

“Apocalyptic”? Hyperbole much?

No one is laughing at our culture except for in our neurotic fans’ imagination.
