The Good
- Major scorer at the high-major level (definitely did not remember UCF was in the Big 12)
- High flying athletic leaper/dunker
- Quite a few steals, looks like a ballhawking 1 on 1 defender
The Bad
- Coming off some concerning injuries for a young athleticism-reliant guy (one can't help but remember the exact same being said of TSJ)
- Transferred from Ball State to UCF and his shooting percentages plummeted (from 45% to 29% from 3)
- Barely averaged an assist per game, negative Ast/TO ratio

All the talk about Illinois getting this player and that player. Since the Transfer Portal has been around illinois two highest rated commits are Terrance Shannon Jr and Matthew Mayer and Illinois got TSJ because he couldn’t get into Michigan. Just thought I would inject some reality into conversation. We are probably going to get maybe one or two these guys

Would serve us right. Seeing Morez end our ownership of Michigan. We blew this one. Brad needs to look in the mirror.
Morez aside, what these kids also don't factor in is that if you leave a good situation and don't perform better or enhance your skillsets, you will lose out on your collegiate earning potential versus staying in a system that has carved out a role you can excel out. This is coming into play with AJ Storr. And although this should never apply to Morez, there are tons of kids that enter the portal and get no NIL offers. On the football side its worst because some kids get no offers altogether.

I don't think he's a 4. Athletic wing that can handle - Riley type but more athletic. Not sure on if he's even set on the reclass, where he'd fit in, or if we have the $$$.
But if he’s the missing piece to lead us to be NCAA champions he’s well worth the money
