They want some shooters, and they will get some. More importantly, this team is gonna flip from last year. Veteran dogs that are hungry.

Frontcourt wise expect Z to announce soon, and a 4 man to follow.
Any word on when Dix will have a decision? Big 10 experience, length, and can shoot. We could use all of that.

Not excited about Ty returning. My most vivid memories of him are the opposing team not bothering to guard him. Hope he proves me wrong.

IL desperately needs a 4 type. I have no problem bringing Hum back as a reserve, but we need a starter big time.

I love Rez. But he’ll be mad if he finds out what I’m saying… he doesn’t have the dog in him like Ty. Ty just wants to work and win.
Ugh. Rez was literally one of the guys we kept saying was a fighter through the whole season when other guys seemed to lollygag around. Can we stop making things up? We have ample reason to rag on him for ditching us for Michigan.

I'd rather he be able to make a mid-range jumper. Michigan State made the Elite 8 without being a three point shooting team. They could make those mid-range jumpers. Illinois needs to focus on those shots and not rely on all those three point shots that they can't make with any consistency.

DMFW and Trent Frazier and Ty all have that extra gear that you need to close out games. There is a difference than putting in effort. This years team was missing that. We needed a glue player which the team could build off. Ty isn’t the most talented but that didn’t matter

I get your point. I feel, though, he has good moves and is quick with his feet to get to the rim.

He just needs to finish better than he has. And I think he will. It's the rebounding and grit that we're going to need.

I also think he will shoot a few 3s, and maybe surprise us.
