Until I hear a single official transfer announcement (yes it sounds like Z is a done deal but still), I think all this hypothetical roster-building is too early.

Can imagine it would. There is factual, recorded evidence that MIchigan has been cheating consistently for 125 years. In spite of retreating to the sewer whenever things get tough, they hide while proclaiming themselves to be "Michigan Men"....a moniker that has become widely known by all others to mean sewer rats.
Does anyone remember last year when Trollman said out of allegiance and love for the university of Illinois, he would not portal to another Big Ten school?

I think Illinois is better with Ty getting the minutes that Humrichous got this year. So I look it at like:
Ty > Ben
Boswell = Boswell
Ivisic = Ivisic
Replacing KJ/Riley/Tre White/Morez with a better collection is going to be the most challenging part of the offseason. Very challenging

Hummer....and I think Ty also...could get that 8 ft. fade-away virtually any time they wanted. Problem is Hummer could never get the ball over the front of the rim. Made me wonder if he ever practiced the shot, but cannot imagine he would work so hard to get it if he didn't. It is not difficult, but the speed and jump on the fade has to be consistent because the eye perception is changing constantly and rapidly. Ty could be effective too if he worked at that shot....and it would be a good mismatch strategy when he gets switched to a shorter guard....but only if he can hit the fader at a 60%+ clip. Domask certainly spent some time learning that shot. BH shot about a dozen that I recall and maybe hit one...possibly two.
