I know it's only two years, but next year will be Kylan's team, and I think he's wired like the captain we need for next season.

I’m actually shocked at the response to the Storr news tbh. My initial comment kind of eluded to that. However, the question “is it about money or the right fit” is a very justified question and if he’s willing to at least try to buy in and B and Co. can actually connect with him he could have the NBA type of year he’s been wanting for a couple years now

Still leaning we get him, but not even sure Josh has made up his mind yet, lol.
I just hope he decides soon - if it's not us, it's not the end of the world, we'll have a lot of money to spend on another guard. Preferably a three point shooter who can be a primary ball handler at times as well - McKneely would be perfect for that if it's not too late after Dix decides

Not saying he ends up here, but could be the bargain of the portal season for whoever gets him.

A Storr transfer reminds me too much of the Matt Mayer sitch. Loose canon with selfish tendencies.

If we lose on Sarr and we had a true 4 year Captain like Trent or DMFW….maybe Storr could be a fit.
But we don’t have that and we need a…team.
Yep. No thanks. I was the biggest AJ Storr fan on this board when he first committed to UI in high school.

But no thanks.

I really wanted Storr last off season and totally agree the upside is there and am totally saw the TSJ trajectory. But, money aside, we sound like the girl who doesn't see what a horrible guy she's dating. Maybe it should be a rule, if you haven't stayed in one place more than a year ever.... that you get red flagged. there tends to be a reason why... And the common denominator is the player. I get bargain bin shopping but my take is

When do you think we were last NOT in full crazy mode? I love Coleman, but his reported NIL is close to the first year salary for a late first-rounder.

I look at getting Storr the same way I approach fantasy league auction drafts. If the price is low enough then the risk is worth it. I may be adamant about not drafting a guy due to whatever risk is there, but there is always a number where I roll with it. Sometimes it works out great, sometimes it doesn't. The key is making sure the number you spend doesn't prevent you from getting your main targets.

I too would like McKneely on this team. Love everything about him and we recruited him out of HS... I do fear he is going to Tennessee.

Just my best guess with how the board looks. No insider information but assessing the landscape he would be a great fit for Barnes and Tennessee

He better be in $10 or less for $200 budget. He better be making less than Tyler and/or Hamer. This is assumption that what Indy and Louisville are saying that if he stinks he can sit quietly on the bench though... No cancer

Said it a few days ago and I'll say it again... I'm in... Great "buy low" opportunity
What does this mean? If I get a good price on a turd, I've still just bought a turd.

If you bring in Storr to be an end of the rotation guy, did you just invite a locker room problem? If you bring him in to be a starter, then I fear you just weakened your roster.

McNeely is not coming here. LVille or Tennessee - that's the word here, that's the word everywhere...

You bring him in to prove it in practice … He knows this is his last shot to get it right …

Tre White didn’t exactly come with the greatest baggage … That turned out alright for us …

You roll the dice on a guy who’s from the state and is an 1st Team All Big Ten level dude …

A selfish, overrated player who clowned us last offseason, sucked at Kansas and is now quitting on them too, and is making Oliver Twist eyes at us for the home state bonus he turned his nose up at 12 months ago?

Give me a break. Creating obvious culture problems for no reason, with a skillset that's extremely fungible in the portal.

It really isn't.
I remember when everyone got upset and overloaded when he didn't come here. I was not one of them. I do see both sides here. No telling where he will wind up.
