No doubt he can coach … But there’s a large aspect to being a HC that isn’t coaching and has everything to do with people just liking you … He sucks in that department …
Definitely worth experimenting with a zone defense to play in certain situations where TnZ are on the floor together.

I wouldn't say he was a sieve, but the 3-4 games I watched, he does tend to get lost fairly often and sometimes overhelps, hunts blocks
Analytics wise though he actually looks similar to guys like Ejiofor or J'Wan Roberts who are considered to be excellent defenders

My friend who is an Arkansas fan said his interior defense was bad and got him in the doghouse with cal towards the end of the season. But that he's a great shooter. Nothing too surprising. Hopefully little fletching can help. He clearly has some defensive potential
