Yep, I understand the appeal, but I don’t buy the narrative that you sign him cheap and if he doesn’t buy in, you just bench him or he quits — no harm , no foul. Then you have the “it’s his last year to show NBA” argument. Well, how does he think he can best show the NBA — making sure he gets his points or being a complete player?

We never got word back who was present and what the meeting was about on the 31st. Later that day or the next, there was some word on the board that two coaches were going to be replaced, but no other information about who or when. Dra' s Mom was referencing the meeting the day before or something in a social media group. Dra entered the portal a couple days later. I think that's all we scrubs know

The more I looked into him, I think he'd be a good add for sure

He was just named to the World team for Nike Hoop Summit and another article called him a top 10 player in his Euro class

He just averaged 23 pts 14 reb 5 ast 3 blk in ABA U19 tournament (against kids his own age of course, but a lot of NBA players been through ABA U19 so it's no joke)

My gripe might be he is another young player, would be 19 when season starts (though he's listed 6'9 245)

I think our fanbase is so desperate for a natty. Just like Tennessee and Xavier are desperate for their first final 4. We’ve literally accomplished everything else. Our fan base is hungry and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

If he is in the Nike Summit he could be an upgrade over Morez. He likely is a better NBA prospect too.

Both were great for sure. I was young but I still remember Shidler at UK bombing away from 25 feet out. Marty was superb, a great player. Dan Cross, Steve and Craig Bardo, Mike Duff, Chico Vaughn, Lucas O’Rear, Darius Miles, Doug Collins, Jerry Sloan, Nate Hawthorne. Who am I missing?

I don’t want Storr and I certainly hope there’s a plan other than Euros. Sure Ivisic and KJ were hits, but you’ve also gotten dudes like BBV/Vesel who couldn’t play at all.

I hope they spend their money on either a stud midmajor guard looking to move up, or a 2026 reclass. Definitely need some athletes.

I turn 50 this year. I’ve seen the Packers win two Suoer Bowls and the Cardinals win three World Series. I just want a basketball national title to die happy from a favorite teams’ perspective.
