Would I be wrong in thinking that Jakstys may end up somewhere else next year? Outside of a complete whiff on a list of about 10 transfers, I see no path whatsoever for him ever seeing the floor except in garbage time.

I’ll say it again … Nothing against Jakstys … But if he’s playing significant minutes … We’ve got serious problems and should be in search mode for a new coach …
Is Jakstys going to get his degree and then transfer to a mid-major in hopes of playing time? Like BBV, Lieb, etc?

Jacari White and Sam Lewis both committed to Virginia over the weekend - two guys we had discussed on here. Neither one visited campus - heck, Virginia wasn't even on White's list of 5 he had cut it to late last week, but they came in with an offer he couldn't refuse apparently and committed over the weekend. This seems to be the way it's going - you just have to rely on our scouting to make good decisions, because you don't have a lot of time to get to know these guys before they commit. Anyone with a good 3pt % is a hot commodity and gets bid up pretty fast

Found his bio, I knew he was from Yorkville, IL and that was about it. See bullet point #10, at least he wants to be an Illini for the love of the game and the school. I have no problem with that at all. Totally agree on the playing time but if there are some scenarios, he can get some time, get him in the game.

So if we land Mirkovic, what will Ben do?
