Dan your list shows no Ben H. Has he exhausted eligibility? I haven’t read 100’s of pages. Maybe I missed it.

Here are some more clips of Mirkovic that popped into my twitter feed. A lot more examples of him handling the ball in this, and it kind of looks like he’s got a one-foot turnaround jumper that he likes to go to a lot.

Not sure about the 42% from 3 claim, but this tape scored a lot higher on my eye test than some of the other stuff I’ve seen.

The 42% claim is only true for his play in the Monenegrin league. In the higher level ABA he shot 27% this season.

I like his other skills and am sure he'll be able to do a lot well. Seems to be a plus rebounder. Am a little skeptical the 3pt shooting will translate immediately.

This is the X account with 700 followers that has been referenced here many times, as has been pointed out before it looks like he just posts message board ramblings as a rumor- obviously sometimes they end up being true or come to fruition and sometimes they are completely bogus. He literally could have gotten that one from here so I wouldn’t put too much faith in this one

I heard that Morez won Power Ball and now intends to forego a basketball career in favor of real estate investing.

Now we wait.

So far happy with the retention and the additions but I am genuinely worried about how this team is going to get stops next year with this current roster lol.

The roster currently calls for a 3 level wing/guard scorer who also grades out as a ++ defender... Those are obviously tough to come by.

I have no doubt this team will score the basketball but how will they prevent it?

Also when will we see a defensive minded, seasoned assistant coach be added?

I didn’t notice in other videos I’ve watched on him, but some of the clips seem clearly marked U16 and some certainly don’t look like they are against “grown men.” So some of the disparities in opinions over Mirkovic’s skills, might be based on from when highlights are. That said, I like the pick up. Definitely like some of the skills he shows, and don’t have an issue with his shot as some seem to.

I think he’ll struggle some on D in the early going, but should improve as he becomes acclimated. Ben never became a lock down defender (nor will he), but I think he definitely improved as season wore on.

The only issue I have with him and T and Z defensively is I worry Hamer doesn’t have the experience to adjust D to limit/hide any of those players deficiencies. and play to strengths they may have. I think in s vacuum Hamer probably/might have the ability to design an effective D. But games aren’t played in a vacuum. Not every player has good or great defensive skills or the attributes to run every defense. Not every opponent will attack your D or particular players in it the same way. I haven’t been impressed with Zach’s ability to adjust across the season or within a game.

Looks like Hoop Summit is televised, 9pm Saturday (Peacock)

nice

I'm not going to complain about the highlight videos, guy obviously has something if he's a top 10 Euro prospect

Yes I share in all of the defensive concerns. I am hoping we see a defensive-minded assistant hire here at some point to replace Tim Anderson, but that’s another thread.

And yes some of that competition is very poor. Although if a guy that’s 6’9” can make those one-foot step backs consistently, that shot is almost unguardable at any level. He also showed more ball-handling chops than I’d seen before so that also piqued my interest.

Who even is Ty Rodgers though. Need another one of him though probably. Someone like Morez would have been. In his role as rebounder, not in the role he demanded to have.
