Quoting myself here but I see some Kevin Love comp for Mirkovic. Strongly built, below the rim PF who is good in the post, can hit 3s, good passer, and a good rebounder despite the lack of verticality (Love was a vacuum cleaner on the glass)
That's the comparison I would make for him (obviously not saying he'll be that good).

I'm not sure a backcourt of Boswell, Ace, and Sarr could win the bigten. It's good don't get me wrong, but not great.

I hope they have another wing in mind in addition to the ones listed above.
The construction of the team is different than BU’s most successful- not a huge downhill guy like Ayo or TSJ- but I’d confidently roll with that combo of guys. It’s a team full of hard a** players and 3 bigs who can stretch the floor, pass and 2 of them who can post up their man.

He was young and followed his moother's advice. I've heard he is a good young man and wished he had stayed. I love that his shooting last year was great and in line with being regarded as one of the best in his class when he came out. He also is a solid defender. The price should be right too. BU and staff know Adam and if they want him back I say go for it. There are no promises about playing time. He seems to be a great fit and it wouldn't hurt to have a Peoria student on both the Mens and Women's teams

Some folks raising concerns about Miller and his family are the same folks who keep asking if we can finally get Storr? 🙄 If I were BU, I’d take Adam any/every day over AJ & Co.

Adam didn’t tarnish our name. He’s been respectful and supportive of this program and his former teammates ever since he left. This isn’t some kid who we have to worry about with his family about playing time and where he projects in the program. He is a 23 year old man now and this is the end of the road for him in college basketball. His parents/family/camp has no leverage to cause a fuss whatsoever. If he wants to come here and play in whatever role he earns, that’s absolutely fantastic, and I’ll be very glad to have him back.
Get old. Stay old.

That would be an excellent backcourt.

I think they would need 2 more proven scorers.

Pass for me on Miller if he's anythiing more than your 4th or 5th guard.
Yeah, no way he is coming back to start. Dude has been on terrible teams since leaving and this will be his last year. Maybe he just wants to win games before hanging it up.

Sarr 17 pts 5/9 in field 4 rb in 25 minutes

Mirkovic 8 pts 3/5 3 rb in 15 minutes

We were recruiting Cayden Boozer 4pt 1/3 0 rb 13 minutes

Jasper Johnson 0 pts 0/4 1 rb 5 minutes

Our recruits did well.

Last year KJ and Will barely played

Only way I don't see it happening is if the staff says no, we will see what happens. Decent chance he comes back is all I am going to say.
I have always wanted him to come back, I couldn't believe he left to begin with. Whenever I see ASU playing on TV, I always watch a little of the game to "check on Ace Wolf" to see how he's doing. I would love to have him back home.

No, not yet. He's not going to play other 17 and 18 year olds. As we say last year, our younger guys got bullied and out quicked in a lot of games. Playing against 21, 22 and 23 year olds(or older) that have a LOT more experience and are much more physical and athletic will be a challenge. It is what it is. Could he be a nice piece and develop into a contributor for 12-15 minutes.... absolutely. Anything above and beyond that is blind hope.

That's not disparaging the kid, it's expectations of any kids of his age and quite frankly..... physicality has been a major issue with all of the international players we've brought over. He had some nice putbacks in the first quarter, but that was really the end of the contribution.

Nice effort from him, but most definitely not on the same level as the others in the floor.

Meeting with Sarr and agent tomorrow. Staff has the money/role to sell and hopefully lock that up.

If you haven't heard, there is real Adam Miller to Illinois buzz right now. We will see what comes of it but I think there's a decent chance he's coming back. Would not be a guaranteed starter if he comes and they will bring in another 2 guard along with Miller.
I see the prodigal son might be coming back home.

show how well Brad is recruiting we had 3 players in game KJ Will and Morez. Equivalent of world mcDAA game. If we get Sarr we will have two this year!
