I don't know, it seems like they might only have the money to add one of Sarr or Coward and then fill around them with cheaper options.

I think Coward and Sarr would complement each other well and Coward could play the 2 with Sarr at the 3. Then you're just looking for a bench guard in the DGL role like Miller or someone else.

But Indys lineup only listed one of Sarr or Coward so I would assume they don't have the money to get two big ticket guys like that.
I agree Coward and Sarr would be the dream and if we add Ace, we’d be done in my mind - Ben being a pure luxury given I think we would have options at small ball 4

Even if it’s Sarr or Coward for $2.5M, we should still have ~$1.5M for a starting caliber SG was what I was thinking, it always depends on who it is and if you can get donors to fund a specific athlete coming there could be more available

Yeah, Coward and Sarr would be awesome. If you can't make that happen then I think you need to go after an upside guy like Storr if Miller is going to be the third guy.

You would still be mostly fine if Storr didn't pan out and if he did you would have a veteran scoring guard/wing to complement a younger Sarr.

I think Adam is a starting caliber SG but a quality combo guard to compete with him for that is fine.

Miller was ejected from a one-point loss to Kansas State on Feb. 4 for making contact with an opposing player. Because it was deemed a fighting ejection, it garnered a suspension for the next game, a 13-point loss at Oklahoma State.

But he was again ejected the next game for expressing his displeasure with a technical foul call, earning a second technical in the process

Hmmmm....do we really want this here at Illinois??

Watched most of the ASU games the last 2 years and attended a few in person. His specialty was scoring from 3 and break away run-outs. Rarely saw him penetrate the lane and breakdown defenses, but those offensive skills can be valuable if used correctly. He appears to be fairly connected on defense with his assignment. He isn't a starting point guard... just my opinion.

so now its going to be Kylan, Miller, Sarr, Mirkovic and Tomi. ngl that team would be lucky to make it to the dance.

and this #1 target all along talked about....looks like its Adam Miller.

Da'Monte and Trent are both correct. Give the guy his credit. They could've started anywhere, and chose to start and finish with BU. If you're gonna ask a trivia question, at least have the answers.

Could have used some guys with an edge in a few games this season.

So, Is this the stud that we were told to watch for? I like. Also, JMHO, and I might be the only one, but if it drags out with Sarr, and we could get Coward instead, I would pull the trigger. I actually think that he would be a better player for the Illini this year.

I wanted him last year and got crucified on here because he “wasn’t good enough” …

And then he gave us like 40 … Lol …
